" Oh no, It's already past 11pm. " you said and hurriedly walks your way home. It's all thanks to Hanji who talks about coffee, coffee beans, coffee brewing and so on and so forth. And if it wasn't for Erwin who interrupted Hanji and reminded her that you have school tomorrow you thought that Hanji can still go on even after the sun rises in the morning.

( Oh, this street looks creepy this late at night where no other people are walking by)  you thought and took a shaky step towards the pitch black street ahead of you. The apartment which you lives on are only two more corners ahead but this dark street with no lamp post are giving you the creeps.

After a few more steps you let out a sigh of relief when you saw that there is a person walking towards your direction. You walked faster and covered half of your face with your scarf and heightened your alert when you saw and realized that there's a shinny thing the other person is holding.

Of course you're dumb enough to push yourself to walk into a dark street but you're not that dumb to not realize what the other person is gonna do. You just heightened your guard and walked even faster.

" Ah!! " you were startled when the other person started to sprint towards you and held a small knife shinning even on the dark street. You have thrown by then your school bag aside and readied your fighting stance.

Just when the attacker slashed his knife at you, you easily dodge it out of your way, quickly grasping his wrist and turned it into a painful way so that he would drop the knife. He did dropped it as expected and as soon as the knife fell on the ground you kicked it to a few meters away. The attacker grunts as he is now weaponless and obviously in a disadvantage.

Still holding the attacker's wrist, you then twisted it so it is in his back and pushed him down on his knees.

" I will not hurt you anymore, just don't move from here. " you said and gently letting go of the attacker.

" Y-you son-of-a-bitch! Who do you think you are huh?! " The attacker shrieked whilst still holding his painful wrist. He slowly stood up and frantically laughed.

" You t-think I'm alone? Ha-Ha-Ha " The attacker laughed menacingly and looked at the direction where he came from and suddenly whistled. After a few moments a man came out while pulling what it seems like three trash bags.

But as soon as the 2nd person came more closer you saw more clearly that what you thought of three trash bags was actually three unconscious men and the 2nd person is pulling them by the rim of their shirts.

" Were you referring to this three maggots? " The second person said and thrown the three unconscious men in front of the first attacker like as if they were just light as a paper.

( That voice, I knew it's him! ) suddenly recognizing his voice your heart went into another fit of violent beating. You carefully arranged the ribbon of your uniform and dusted off some dirt on your school bag where you picked it up a few steps away.

" S-shit! " The first attacker then retaliated and ran away from you and the raven haired guy.

( W-what should I do? W-what should I say? ) You were battling with your inner self when the raven haired guy then turned and started to walk away without saying anything.

" W-wait! " you suddenly said without even thinking. The raven haired guy thankfully stopped walking and turned his head towards you. Even the darkness on your surroundings you can perfectly see his steel blue eyes looking directly at you. You gulped and walked towards him stopping just a few steps in front of him.

" T-thank you for h-helping me out again. You're always there to s-save me in my most crucial times. " you said and slightly bowed in front of him.

" Two of those men have hand guns with them. The other two have knives. Even if you perfectly handled that one how would you handle the other three? You're stupid enough to walk yourself into that much danger. Idiot. " the raven haired guy said and waited for you to reply.

" You're right. I'm so sorry. But I think you shouldn't call oneself s-stupid or i-idiot for such reasons. " you said as tears forming in your eyes.

" Tch, have it your way. Is this your way to your home? " Then the raven haired guy asked pointing to the street that you were recently walking to.

" Yes, two more corners then the apartment that I'm renting in. " you said whilst pointing to the apartment building peeking through the row of houses.

" I'll walk you there. My house is that way too. " Said the raven haired guy and started to walk ahead of you. ( So he lives in this neighborhood ). You catched up and walk beside him. The dark street stretches a few more meters and when both of you reaches the nearby lighted lamp post you caught a glimpse of the raven haired guy's face.

" Wait! " you said and held into the hem of the raven haired guy's coat to stop him from walking. He made a grunting sound and looked at you with brows crunched together.

" What? " He said in annoyance.

" Look at you! You're injured! " you said and pointed at his lips. He have a cut on his lips and blood had dried out from it. And when you looked down, His left foot is in tip toe position. Which means-

" You're foot is sprained! " you said and pointed at his injured foot.

" You got injured by saving me. " you said and looked down " You're right. I'm so stupid for walking into the danger itself. If I didn't go there, then you didn't have to save me. Then maybe you didn't have to injure yourself. Then - "

" You're the talkative version of you that I had ever encountered. " the raven haired guy suddenly whispered making you stop talking.

" What? " you asked. ( What does he mean by version of me? )

" What? No, don't mind what I had just said. " the raven haired guy dismissed and started to walk again but because that you're still holding the hem of his coat he turned to you and signs you to let go.

" Oh, sorry. " , " But wait! " you said and once again grabbed the hem of the raven haired guy's coat.

" Tch, you wouldn't stop do you? " he said quite annoyed.

" My apartment is just up ahead. I'll tend to your wounds and that ankle. My mom used to tend this kind of injuries to me and teaches me how to do it. " ,

" Please, I won't take NO as an answer. " You said determingly. The raven haired guy sighs in defeat and lets you lead the way but instead you held up his left arm and held it into your shoulders to support his weight. You heard him inhaled sharply and simply took it as the pain in his foot.

( Damn, His body heat is feverish! What is this, I'm feeling this heat growing up inside my chest. It's burning me up from within! And this is the closest I have of him I wish that time would pass by more slower. Even his manly scent... he doesn't wear any perfume but he just smells so good. )
