Levi Squad

" I just remembered, you would always hold your cup that way. I would always see you and Petra would be the one making it for you. " you said and looked down at the cup. You remembered the day Petra and the others ended. You didn't know Levi was grieving for the death of his squad at that time and yet you said some harsh words at him. But at the end he helped you from the female titan and retrieved Eren out of it.

You looked at the present Petra and you smiled bitterly at the memory of her past life. Not just Petra, the whole Levi squad is quite alive and are all posing as waiters at Wall Rose Café.

" I-i shouldn't have here come after all. " your voice crack at the end and covered half of your face with your scarf.

" That's right. " he replied while looking at his squad members. " When I first opened this cafè they all applied here instinctively, without remembering their past lives. One by one they came to me looking for a vacant job. Some of them only looked for a part time but eventually they came to love this work and asked for a full time job. " Levi said looked at his workers with pain in his eyes. Your chest suddenly tightens as if feeling the same pain that is evident in him. You looked down at your cup of tea and you saw that you were holding the cup pretty tight and your hands were slightly trembling making the cup clanking lightly on its saucer.

You put the cup down on the table and slowly inhaled deeply and calmed yourself down.

" I'm sorry. " you said after a moment of silence between you and Levi. He snapped back to look at you and we're about to talk when you hold your hand in front of him as if to stop him from talking.

" Before you say anything, I just want to say sorry for the trouble that I am causing you now. It may be rude to just suddenly burst into your life even though that you have stabilized your present life today. I didn't thought that your feelings about the original Mikasa may have be gone by now. I was just overwhelmed with the knowledge of my past life and the feelings that kept building up inside me. " , you looked up at him and he just sat there while prently sipping his cup of tea.

" I didn't think it through that maybe after the years you have already forgotten about her and were trying to forget her and here I am suddenly popping in front of you and pushing myself to know more about the past US. " , you said and emphasized the word 'us'.

" But I just want you to know that before I started remembering the days inside the walls, you already caught my attention and I wanted to know more about you. Everytime I would come to Wall Maria I was hoping that you would be there. And when I was told about your café I just came here without thinking. Im so sorry. " you said and gathered your things. You stood up and while you were putting your coat on, you looked down at Levi and he was just sitting there looking down at his tea. You assumed that his silence means he agreed on what you had said and that made you ache more. You lightly bowed in dismissal at him and started to walk away. Your head down and not looking or greeting back the staffs that you passed by, you walked away to Wall Rose Café and welcomed the thin cold air of this spring night. It was so cold it made your nose and fingertips ice cold. It was not just that, it also made your heart ice cold from the pain that your are suffering right now.

Even without the memories you know that you have come to like Levi but Levi had shut himself down. He already locked his heart and the only key is already forgotten along with the memories of Mikasa Ackerman back with the Titans.
