Hiya all and happy summer! If you're on summer vacation, how's it been? Mines been pretty good so far. I'm just so glad freshman year is over!
I have some exciting news that's not really exciting for you but I'm going to share anyways. This summer, I'm taking pre-college classes for drawing! I'm actually taking 2 classes over a 3 week span. My morning class is called The Basics of Drawing and my afternoon one is The Art of Comic Books. I started this week and it's like super professional. The classes are taught by real college professors and I will get graded and I even have a temporary college ID. Of course the student ID is what I'm most excited about. 😂 It's been really good so far and I hope my drawing skills can improve.
For now, I have a drawing of Ibu-senpai's OC, Pairy. If you have an Instagram, you should definitely go check out @ibu-chuan. She is art goddess; Senpai of all senpais! If I had to choose one favorite artist on Insta, it might actually be her. So for her birthday last week, I drew her OC Pairy. I love the her/his design.

🎨 Copic markers, Micron pens, white Sakura jelly roll pen, Strathmore sketch paperQuick question: Do you guys think it's ok to copy other artist's drawings? Is it ok to post them online?
In my personal opinion, it's ok to copy drawings IF you have the artist's permission. If you're using it as a reference I think it's a little different but if your mostly copying it, then you should give the artist credit. If you're going to post it, I think you should also have the artist's permission and give them full credit for the idea. That's just my opinion, but I'm curious to know what you guys think.
If you ever want to copy one of my drainage, I'm ok with that as long as you credit me properly and ask before you post it. 😉
