In the past years, we have made great strides, yet women still don't have the same opportunities as men. Here are some real facts that express the inequality women still face in 2018.

-Women are paid on average 16% less than men for doing the same work

-Women make up the minority by approx. 30% in government and press

-In the US, there's never been a female president

-Women are 3 times more likely to be victims of rape than men

-70% of moms with kids under age 18 are primary caregivers and participate in the labor force

These few statistics barely show the inequality that women face every day, but they give an idea. Despite it all, we can change things! Women all around the world need to stand together. We have to fight for the equal rights we deserve and settle for no less. Don't give up ladies; stick together and stay strong!
