Frodo pov

"Frodo, Marla is.....is dying."

"W-what! What do you mean, Marla is dying?"

"After the ring was destroyed, many people of Marla fell ill. Our doctors are doing the best they can, but it isn't enough."

I looked at her worriedly. Her town and race was created during the dark times, unknown to others. Her and her people are both related to Men and Elves. Ek her self is half Elve and Man, giving her immortality of Elves yet the looks of Men. I often asked her questions about her home and what it is like, since I never been there.

"If many have fallen ill, does there mean there's a chance that you will to," I asked hesitantly, fearing an answer I already knew.

"Yes, yes there is," she replied.

"What about the Elves? Your close to Rivendell. Ask them to help you."

"Well, I didn't know where to turn. We barely know anyone except for you, Frodo."

I frowned and looked away. It was true that they had little to no contact to any of their kin of the other race's. So it wasn't surprising of their nervousness to reveal them self to any other full bloods.

"I'll take you to talk to them. I know an Elve called Legolas and a man named Aragon. They both are residing in Rivendell for the moment. Maybe they can help."

She smiled brightly.

"Thank you, Frodo. We must leave at once," she said, standing.

I nodded and went to grab my bag I didn't get to unpack yet. Once i got that we headed out. As I closed the door, I heard the bush rustle. I rolled my eyes and walked to the bush by the window. Ek looked at me confused as i stopped.

"Sam, marry, Pippin. No need to hide anymore. I know your there."

I hear muttering as the three came out. I smiled and chuckled.

"Grab your bags, we're going to Rivendell."

They looked up with smiles on their faces. They all missed the others as much as me and will take any opportunities to go see them, even if they don't grasped the Importance of the situation.

We were waiting for Pippin on the road.

"So, more hobbits coming," Ek asked.

"Yep. This is Marry and Sam. Pippin should be here soon,"I explained, "Marry, Sam, This is Ek."

"Nice to meet you Miss. Ek."

"Yeah. It's a a pleasure."

"Hey! I'm here and I'm Pippin! Pippin took!"

"Nice to meet you all. Shall we go?"

"Yes, off to Rivendell!"

We then headed off on the road to Rivendell on a new adventure.
