Chapter 9

Feeling a piercing gaze on his back Kiyoshi curiously turned his head only to see Yuki staring at him with his same expressionless face but looking at those cold eyes made him shiver in fear.

He immediately abandoned the trees and the beast and went a little closer to Yuki but he didn't dare to get too close lest he could escape if Yuki wanted to kill him. 

Looking at how cautious of him his mate was, Yuki felt very displeased but he know he cannot force his mate as he can see that his mate have no idea about their bond. But its a different story if his mate wants to leave him. He don't mind forcefully binding his mate to him so he can never leave his side.

Thinking this Yuki's eyes darkened. Kiyoshi who was thinking how to start a conversation with Yuki suddenly shivered. He felt like a hungry beast was eyeing him.

Kiyoshi looked at Yuki whose eyes never left him and wanted to say some awe inspiring words to make a good first impression.

Kiyoshi: H-H-Hello.

Alas reality is always cruel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kiyoshi inwardly cried and kissed goodbye to his first impression. But he cannot give up so easily so he gathered his courage and said "I am the one that saved you".

Seeing that Yuki still had same expressionless face Kiyoshi bit the bullet and said boldly "So you owe me a favor". 

Yuki watched with amusement at his mate who was trying to put a brave front but if his legs didn't keep shaking and his position didn't look like he ready to run anytime, it would have looked more realistic. 

Of course Yuki know his mate was the one that healed him. Although he had been unconscious he can feel what is happening around him. He can still taste his mate's unique flavor on his lips. It was truly addicting and having his mate that close made him unable to resist so he forcefully awakened himself despite his body's condition just to hold his mate but too bad it didn't last long.

Now he was wondering what his mate want from him. He can give anything and everything his mate want,anything but leaving him.

Kiyoshi seeing that Yuki didn't get angry and was still silent with no change in expression became even more brave and said "I want to follow you".

Finally there was a change in Yuki's expression. Even though it was very minute Kiyoshi who was closely watching his face caught it. He began to have cold sweat. Did Yuki became angry because of what he said. Will he go to slaughter mode and kill him.

He thought for a moment and decided to be truthful so he said "I don't have any ulterior motive. I just don't want to die and as you are powerful I believe that you can protect me. Also I am good at healing so I can help you" saying this and thinking about how he healed Yuki previously he became embarrassed but he still continued "I can also control trees and I can even use all elemental magic so I am not useless".

Feeling there was still no change in Yuki's expression Kiyoshi used his final card "We can form a contract if you don't believe him".

As Kiyoshi was busy in thinking different reasons for pursuing Yuki he didn't notice Yuki's eyes lit up at the mention of contract. He also didn't notice Yuki who was originally sitting on the ground standing up and walking towards him. It was only when Yuki stood in front of him does Kiyoshi notice him and the moment his eyes met the red eyes he became still.

Fuck this is it,I am going to die. 

Kiyoshi tightly closed his eyes but when he heard Yuki's words his eyes flew open.

Yuki: Are you sure?

Yuki's voice was very hoarse like he hadn't talked for a very long time but for some reason it sent shivers to Kiyoshi and this time it was not due to fear.

Looking at the same emotionless face Kiyoshi slowly nodded. What happened next was something Kiyoshi would never forget. Yuki who was standing silently till now suddenly hugged him and before he could process what was happening he felt pain in his lips and gasped as he tasted a metallic taste but because of that a tongue invaded his mouth.

Only when he was unable to breath did he came out of his daze and began to struggle. Yuki finally stopped after some time and let him catch his breath. 

Then he watched stupidly as Yuki cut his finger and placed it on the leaf symbol between his eyebrows after that he wiped the blood from his lips which were still bleeding and placed them on his left wrist where there was a symbol of a star inside a circle ✪.

Kiyoshi felt a warm feeling between his eyebrows but then he saw a white light coming from Yuki's wrist and surrounding his right hand. He watched with wide eyes when the light became a chain connecting his right hand with Yuki's left hand and then vanish as if it had never been there.

He looked up to ask Yuki what this is all about but he was shocked by what he saw. Yuki who always had an expressionless face now had his lips curved upward. This made him look evil but at the same time seductive. 

Yuki looked at his mate who was staring at him with a stupid expression and at the lips that were still bleeding. He leaned closer and licked off blood from his lips until the wound stopped bleeding. Looking at his mate who stood like a statue he became more happy.
