It is in the moments in which I have found myself questioning whether or not I was alone that I have found the most answers to the questions I didn't know I was asking,
Like the way I seek someone's affection even when I do not want it because I am afraid of being alone,
Or how I want someone to love me but just wish I could stop loving them.
In these moments of the highest disparity I have had someone there who was able to be the catalyst to these answers.
Often this person has been the reason the question never had to be formed to find the answer.
We all have that someone who we can look at and learn about ourselves through.
I look at this person and learn through the experiences I witness and see myself in them.
We all have the one person we can't get rid of no matter what or why.
We all have the fighter.
The fighter is the one who against all the odds has lasted through everything.
The fighter is the one who has never given up on you.
The fighter is the one person who can pull you out of any funk you're in.
But most of all the fighter is your best friend.
No it's more than that.
The fighter is your family.
Your one true family by choice.
Not by blood.
The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the home.
