You used to be my hero
The one that I looked up to
To save me from the bad
The one that would be there for me when ever I called
Now you are tainted
Your reputation precedes you
No longer the knight in shining armor
You corrupted my allusion
No longer believing in princes or heros to save the day
So now I will save myself
You used to be my hero
But you don't deserve to be anyone's hero
As you do things that you should not
You are not fit to have a cape
You are not fit to be a knight in shining armor
You used to be a hero but no more
I will be my own hero
My own savior to the darkness
My own prince to come in to save the day
My own shining knight to battle all the evil
So although you used to be my hero
I thank you for disappointing me
As you taught me not to place anyone as my hero but myself
