I can see glimpses of red white and blue lights flashing I came to move my neck and I couldn't something felt wrong I don't know what happened to me... my eyelids were too heavy and i couldn't open them. "ma'am I am so sorry are you ok??" I felt a husky voice and from what I can tell it was a boy asking me if I was ok.. I opened my mouth to answer but all I tasted was blood and then everything went black.. I wake up to the sounds of sirens and I tried to regain consciousness and I scanned my surroundings to find that i am in an ambulance car.
my life came flashing in front of my eyes. what happened to me? where am I? where is mom and dad? then it hit me like a car driving 208 mph they weren't here. they aren't here. they won't be here for me when i need them. why? why?? why do i lose everything i have? why am I not like every other girl? is it a lot to ask for a family? then a tear slipped from my eye and everything went black again. "we need surgery right now she is losing a lot of blood... call code red!! quickly we can't lose a patient!!! call all doctors and nurses quick!!!" that's all I can hear before i blackout again.
"mom? dad? i missed you so much!!!" I say. I feel my eyelids open but I feel like they have something on them like you know that feeling when you have a lot of mascara piled up on your eyes for days?? that's how i felt but times 23. oh it was a dream they are not here... when will I realize that i am all alone in this cruel world. I start looking around. I see that I am in a light blue hospital room. I feel a cast on my neck, iv's hung up and through my arms, and I feel some weakness in my heart I can't quite catch my breath... I start to have difficulty breathing so quickly that I struggle to reach for the nurse call button, I finally take a hold of it and presses it very hard and within seconds a doctor and a couple of nurses came in and they put the oxygen mask and after that i felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulder. then i crash again and blackout. "I think her case is just so critical we need to move her to a bigger and a more professional hospital she has more than a serious problem and we can't risk it all under our supervision and lake view hospital. we need to fly her. the man that was involved in the crash asked me to do all we can that she lives I don't know who the guy is but it looks like he cares about her" says the doctor. "so when do we fly her it looks like she seeks medical help immediately?" questions the nurse. "not sure I will go check with the head administrator of the hospital."
"we can fly her in today and I think our best option would be to New York City because The Mount Sinai Hospital is the most ranked and it has some good doctors so quickly prepare her for the flight and who will be paying the money?" "I am not sure but it seems like the guy who was involved in the crash he looked like he cared a lot about her." "ok sounds good her flight will leave in the morning so do whatever you can to keep her alive we can't risk our hospital's reputation." "yes sir."

the next day
"be careful move her onto a bed that is stable and won't hurt her neck or move the oxygen tank" says the doctor. "move her in the ambulance car and also the boy that brought her in was injured but not as much because his car was hit but not by the girl it was another car. the one that Maddie hit died and the boy's car was destroyed but he had minor injuries and he rushed here to get her." "oh ok sounds good is he gonna fly with her, did you get information on him yet?" "no doc i have a feeling he is a relative but we can do a background check but he already payed for his ticket to fly with her." "wow already? the guy must care" "ok then sounds good"

"I am sorry that this is all happening to you, I don't want to lose someone that I could have saved, it's just that I saw you suffering and I couldn't bear to see another person die in front of my own eyes and I couldn't help... I hope you get well..." I hold her hand and cry I don't know what kind of feeling I got but I felt like she needed comfort and I could do that. I won't allow anything to happen to you or anybody that i see that is harmed die in front of my eyes... "I promise."
