James and Greg hurried on down the stairs to reach Mark's room. Once they paused in front of it, the two crinkled their noses in disgust. A foul odor wafted out from the cracks of the door and flooded the cramped hallway that led to the other rooms that the others stayed in.

"That smells rather... disgusting..." Greg whispered, pinching his nose to try and prevent himself from inhaling anything further. James nodded and turned to knock on Mark's door with a shakey fist.

"M... Mark?" James called out with a taut voice. There was no answer so James knocked a few more times on the door. "Hey, Mark, it's James. Are you alright in there? It smells awful out here, so we wanted to make sure you're alright..." James finished. A faint cough could be heard from inside and so Greg and James turned to each other with relieved looks on their faces.

"At least he's still alive..." Greg jokingly whispered to James. They both chuckled quietly before deciding to leave Mark alone for a bit longer. While they headed back in the stairs, Chris brushed past both of them without a word. His eyes seemed sunken in and his body movements looked as if they moved mechanically. Greg shouted at him, but there was no response from him either like with Mark.

"Why is everyone acting so odd today?" James asked. Greg shrugged and faced the back of the ship where Callie and Remy were.

"Who knows... Maybe it was that argument earlier that set everyone off? We're all just on edge I guess because of that. It's been a long few hours for everyone." Greg sighed. James nodded in agreement as he peered over at Jim and Jason who were towards the front of the ship drinking a can of beer each.

"This is... probably my fault... If only I didn't invite Mark... I'm sorry..." James apologized with a raspy voice. Greg cackled quietly and patted James on the back.

"Don't worry so much about it!" Greg bellowed, "Sure, Mark is almost always an ass, but he has his moments... Once in a blue moon..." He muttered under his breath so James wouldn't hear him. Greg stumbled off towards the cockpit again while James remained still. He glanced back and forth, searching for Chris who had no mysteriously disappeared.

"Jesus Christ... I feel like I'm babysitting my kids..." James whispered in an upset tone. He then started by going towards the rear of the ship where Callie and Remy were before stopping to search around for Chris. Remy snickered and held out her hand with a partially full beer can.

"Hey James! How can we help you?" She laughed. He looked to Callie for answers, but she too was acting funny. Behind the two of them were multiple cans of beer and some cans of margaritas. Remy then downed the rest of hers and then reached back into the cooler for another one. Before she could though, James pulled it away from her and put it aside to where she could reach it. "James! Give me one or else!" Remy screamed. He put his hands against his hips and frowned.

"Or else what?" James questioned her.  Remy smiled and opened her mouth wide.

"Ahhhhh! Jim help me! James is attacking me!" She yelled. Within a matter of seconds, Jim managed to rush all the way across the boat and knocked James straight to the ground. Jim held his hand against James's neck, choking him with almost all of his strength.

"You asshole! I knew that you were bad news!" Jim shouted into James's ears. Jason came running soon after and pulled Jim off of James rather easily. Jim continued to shout profanities at James, but he couldn't hear what was coming out of Jim's mouth. It was silent to him. He slowly reached for his neck with a clammy hand. It felt as if it was on fire to him. The next thing he knew his back had hit the hard wooden deck of the ship. Jason and Callie gathered around him while the other two began to argue with each other again. James struggled to remain awake, but gave in and lost consciousness.

"Oh fuck! Jim, look what you did!" Jason shouted angrily. Jim folded his arms and glared at Remy.

"I was trying to protect my fucking wife you asshole!" He screamed. Callie knelt down beside James and sniffles slightly before facing Remy with an frightened look.

"He didn't even touch her! He tried to stop her from drinking another beer since she was already wasted and she got mad! What the hell is wrong with you Remy?" Callie cried. Remy looked to Jim for support, but he grimaced at her instead.

"You what?! I can't believe you tricked me like that you loon!" He yelled at her. She smiled and prepared to respond, but all of a sudden began to look around and then stared at James as he remained on the ground. She screamed and jumped out of her seat, crouching by James to feel for a pulse.

"Oh my God! What the fuck happened to him! We need to get back to the docks already!" Remy cried, grabbing onto Jim's shirt to grab his attention. "Jim come on! Why are you just standing there?" She asked him, tugging on his shirt. Jim pulled away from Remy and lifted his arm back as if he was about to punch her.

"It's all your fault! Why are you acting as if you had nothing to do with it?" He asked her with a terrified look on his face. Remy tilted her head in confusion.

"I didn't do anything! Don't be blaming this on me! All I've been doing is hanging out with Callie this whole time and suddenly you, Jason, and James appeared in front of us! What are you going on about?" Remy asked. Jim put his fist down and stomped off, leaving behind Jason to care for James. "Callie... what is he talking about?" Callie raised her eyebrows at Remy's question, but told her everything that had just happened anyways.

"How do you not remember what just happened? You started to flirt with James one minute and then the next you get your ape of a husband to beat the crap out of him! I didn't know this was the real you, Remy..." Callie sighed. Jason picked up James while Callie followed behind, leaving Remy all alone to figure out her thoughts and to take in what Callie had just told her.

"What the fuck is going on?" Remy asked herself. She hopped up from her seat and walked further to the back of the ship and leaned over the guard rail. A sudden and loud splashing noise freighted her as something unexpectedly heavy had hit the water nearby. She first believed that maybe another ship or boat could be close by, but when she turned to face the direction in which the noise came front she froze in her steps.

"Chris?!"
