Bendy's PoV:

I couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't stop thinking of the cup head that I saw today... yesterday? What time is it? I looked at the time: 4:46 AM. Three hours until Boris wakes me up for breakfast. I groaned quietly, not wanting to wake my pal up. He might get angry at me.. again. I tossed and turned, flipped my pillow, shut my eyes tightly, but nothing worked. I kept thinking of him. He just wouldn't leave my mind..

It was near 5 AM when I finally got to sleep, but I knew morning would be hell. And it started with the smell of bacon and pancakes, Boris yelling for me to get up, and the pounding headache I had. I got up and sat on the edge of my bed for a good few minutes, finally getting up after Boris called for me again. My walk downstairs was slow and painful, my headache pounding even more with every step.

When I made it downstairs and to the kitchen table, Boris was setting down my plate. "Right on time! What was takin' ya so long? I had called ya three times!" I gave him a smile, as if apologizing. "Sorry pal! Last night was real rough!" I sat at the table with Boris and started to eat. Boris was a very good cook, I have to admit! "Hey Bendy, how 'bout we go back into town? We could maybe do somethin' instead of stayin' inside all day!" I smiled. "Sure we could!" Seeing Boris smile made me smile more. It was contagious, like a disease that could infect everyone in a single room. I finished off my breakfast and got up from my chair. "I'm finna take a shower Boris!" I told him walking up the stairs. "Okay!" Is all that I heard him say. I headed towards the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it.

I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist and let Boris in. I walked back to my room and got a new bowtie from my drawer, dropping my towel. (y'know, cartoon logic)

Cuphead's PoV:

Me and Mugs were back in town, looking for a place to get breakfast. Mugs said he saw a restaurant somewhere, so we were looking for that. "I saw it when we first got here, but I forgot where it was!" Mugs said, and I chuckled a bit too loudly. He punched me in the arm. "It's not funny! Now help me find it!" I put my hands up defensively and held in my laughter. We continued our search and I saw something. It wasn't the building, but a cat-demon-thingy. It kind of looked like it was staring at...me? I think Mugs saw it too because he said, "That's what I was talking about last night! It's staring at you!" To be honest, it kind of freaked me out. Maybe they didn't want something from me! Something more that my charm and good looks! I acted like I didn't notice and looked the other direction. I still felt it's eyes on me..

Bendy's PoV:

I saw them again.. The cup person and his look-alike. I could only stare at him, my eyes not daring to leave them. Boris must be noticed, so he tried get my attention. "Bendy!" I looked at him sheepishly, a bit embarrased. "Was I starin' again?" He nodded and smirked a bit. "Maybe ya should talk to 'im."
