Chapter 03

Kai's POV

I was on my way to my bike after going to the supermarket to get a gum when I saw a familiar face. A smile appeared on my face but it soon vanished when I saw the speeding car. I thought she will step back but she stops in her tracks closing her eyes. I look back at the car and her, I knew I can make it. I started running just in time when I drag her out of the road just as the car past leaving us behind. My leg tangled with her left one making us both stumble onto the payment. She falls on top of me. I groan in pain when my back hits the floor.

When I left my house I didn't expect to see Melony on my way to school. She really surprised me. My mouth widen when she ran to the bus without hearing my reply. I didn't want to leave my bike on the road, so I called Mike, my head security informing him to send someone to take my bike back home.

I enter the same bus Melony got into. I thought she might have not recognized me. So I thought of talking to her but boy she surprised me by saying she knows me. Before she says my name I saw the hesitation in her voice. She looks scared for a bit. But when she asked me to forgive her, I was more than surprised. Something tells me she knows not to mess with me. But her scared face makes me disappointed for some unknown reasons. I like when people are scared of me. But when I look at her I felt sad? 

I have no idea why she is apologizing for something like that? What the hell is she thinking? I feel like I'm a monster who eats people without a reason. Am I that scary? And she even said she'll do anything to get my forgiveness. The last part is interesting. This is going to be fun. I laugh, she has no clue what she's getting herself into. I almost felt sorry for her but who am I kidding this girl will have me entertained if I keep her on my side. Even thinking about it makes me smile in victory.

"First, stop saying sorry. It's really annoying." She nodded her head quickly. "Second, I'll forgive you since you said you'll do ANYTHING for me."

I said leaning close to her while smirking, emphasizing the word 'ANYTHING'. She gulped nervously and look at me with wide eyes. Before I continue any further the bus stopped in front of our school. She quickly got up taking that as an escape route. But she turned to look at me before getting down from the bus.

I also followed her then I saw her murmuring to herself and taping her lips. "How cute" I smiled looking at her going away from my sight.

"Hey bro! What took you so long?"

I look up to see Sehun standing not so far away from me. He waved at me flashing his eye smile that every girl falls in love with. I'm glad to see him in one peace after yesterday night. He and Xiumin were both wasted yesterday night and I never imagined them to see in school today. I gave a small nod to acknowledge him.

"Glad to see you aren't having a hangover." He just chuckle shaking his head mumbling 'me too' in almost a whisper.

"By the way, I saw you were coming from a bus. Did you ride a one?" The curiosity is clear in his voice. I thought Chen was the nosiest in our group. I guess not.

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?" I asked taking a look at him and facing front again. Then I remembered what happened on the bus. "And it is interesting than I thought." I smile to myself.

"Huh? Are you really okay? You're acting weird." He checked my temperature just to annoy me. I spat his hand away.

"Tsk. What are you talking about? I'm doing good."

"Well, yesterday for the first time I heard you were laughing to yourself which is weird. Second, today you came to school from a bus. Which is also weird since I never saw you riding a bus before and I know how much you hate crowded places."
