Don't Let Me Go

Chapter 9

Once you and Danny finished the pizza, Paul had gone out so you decided to watch a movie.

You put in 'Mean Girls' and sat on the couch next to Danny.

"Ah, a classic." He said and the tile screen came on.

You chuckled and clicked play.

A few days later you woke up around 10:30. You yawned and got out of your bed heading to the bathroom.

"Morning." You heard Paul said as you passed by his room.

You smiled, waved and said, "Morning."

After you finished your business in the bathroom you were about to head downstairs when you heard Danny and a girl laughing.

You looked over the railing to see Kimmie.

You gasped and shook your head.

"This can't be right." You thought.

You pushed your thought away and acted like you never saw them.

"Oh Danny, I've missed you so much." Kimmie said as you were walking down.

"Can't say that I didn't feel the same way, sweetie." Danny said and leaning over kissing her head.

You looked away and pushed open the kitchen door. You leaned against the wall and sighed.

You were confused.

"Oh hey Ky." Danny said walking into the kitchen.

You faked smiled and said, "Hey."

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't they be?"

"Oh I don't know, was just asking." He said and left the kitchen.

Later on Kimmie had left and you went to go talk to Danny.

"Hey can we um, talk?" You asked standing in his doorway.

"Yeah, Of course. What's up." He asked setting aside his laptop and patting the empty space on his bed.

"Why was Kimmie here?" You spit out.

He sighed, "I decided to forgive her for what she did. I feel that I was just upset and being stupid. So I invited her over and tell her I was sorry." He said

"But why?" You asked. "She cheated on you for another guy for four months, Danny!"

"Because,"

"Because why?" You asked but it coming out a but more harshly then you wanted it to.

"Because, because I can't have you."
