Don't Let Me Go

Chapter 21

"So tell me what happened." The officer said calmingly and pulled out a pen to write with.

"I broke up with Tyler a year ago because I caught him cheating and-" you started but was interrupted when Danny walked through the door.

"Uh." He said and set down his keys.

"Please go on Miss Parker."

"And so he got mad about it and a couple weeks ago he called me a few times but I never answered. He broke in one day and beat me up as well as the guy who just walked in. So earlier in the week he said he was coming back." You said and pulled out your phone and showed the officer the text.

"So what happened before Mr Zimmer called?" He asked.

"I came out of the bathroom and saw a dark figure and it was him. He came to me and told me he wanted me. I said never and he started kissing me. He pinned my hands up so I couldn't do anything. The door slammed downstairs and he pulled away. I kicked him so I could go get Paul. And that's it." You and put your hands in your lap.

"Thank you Miss Parker. We'll be in contact soon." The officer said and stood up. He shook hands with you and Paul then walked out.

"I'm so sorry, Ky." Paul said pulling you into a hug.

"It's fine. It's over now." You said.

"You can just go up and ill talk to Danny."

"Thanks." You said and started for the stairs. "Just don't forget to bring me food."

He chuckled and walked into the kitchen.

When you got to your room you fell right asleep.

You woke up around 9:30 and saw pizza on your nightstand. You chuckled and got up.

You went down to the kitchen to heat up your pizza.

"Hey why don't you talk to her later." You heard Paul said.

"I don't think she wants to talk to me." Danny sighed.

You walked over to the kitchen window and looked at them.

"You're both are annoying." You chuckled.

"Whatever." Paul said and walked upstairs.

"Kyrn." Danny whispered like he was just learning your name.

"Yeah?"

"I'm so-"

"I know. Don't worry about it Danny. It's over and he's gone." You said walking into the living and sitting next to Danny.

"But it-"

"Danny please stop."

You looked him straight in the eyes.

"Just stop blaming your self."

You kissed his nose and laid your heads together.

"I'll never let this happen again." He said and wrapped his arms around your waist.

"I love you." You said and laid onto his chest.

"But I love you more." He said and kissed your head.

I've been busy the last few days and trying to write stuff on my shared account. Plus I didn't know what to do with this story line. I know how it's going to end, but don't know what's going in between. But I'm figuring it out :)
