"What I find funny is that they don't to give you the chance to try and change your grade from last year, they just kinda assume 'oh well, he's probably gonna skip and never do his homework so'," Draco sighed at my words while sitting in potions, half working on out Cure for Boils potions. I told my dad that no one is gonna want to go over old potions, and I was right. Almost everyone was giving half an effort. Aparently quite a few people had tutors cause there was a lot of groaning and protesting when my dad had told us that if we had been given a tutor we were to work with them. Only good p part of that is when I went over to Draco, Parkinson tried to argue with me.
"Well, let's be honest here, I would probably do terrible again," He was sitting back in his chair as I added the final thing. "Few classes seem to actually contain important things, so I rarely pay attention. My mum always told me that I would need all of this, but really? Like why would I need to know anything about a Hippogriff? Or how to read the stars or whatever?"
I turned to him and pushed up to sit on an empty section of the desk in front of him. "Well you better hope you marry a smart girl because they do teach us important things. And those classes are electives aren't they? You didn't have to take them?"
"They seemed easy? I didn't think they would be this much work." Draco leaned forwards and looked closer at my shoes. Not many people seemed to like my Doc Martens around here, but I didn't care. He looked them in disgust and shook his head. "Why do you wear Muggle clothes?"
"Cause I was sort of raised by Muggles, that's why. And I find them fascinating. Wizards don't have anything like these." I looked at my shoes and smiled.
"Snape married a Muggle???" He sounded absolutely disgusted, "I thought you were a pureblood?"
"Calm down Draco, I meant that I was raised by my mums Muggle friends. I am a pureblood, don't get your panties in a twist," I rolled my eyes at him and watched my father come towards us.
"Done?" We both nodded and he looked at our potion. "Good, now get your butt off my desk Lucia."
I smiled and laughed as he walked away. I was about to jump down when Draco stood up, "Would you like help?" His voice was all posh and weird, but I took his extended hand and hopped down anyways.
We had small conversations for the rest of class, about anything from Quidditch to homework. My dad only yelled at us a few times, which we always told him "You're the one who put us together and told us to get along!" to which he rolled his eyes and walked away.

Every class I had, I would sit and write or draw, very rarely paying attention, only because it was the second week and we were still going over old things. I never listened to the professors while they droned on and on, mostly because I could just read it in my text book. Even in classes like Divination my attention was else where.
I was sitting in my last class and couldn't tell you anything that was going on. In classes such as Potions, I would go through the motions of learning, but with some over the others it was just the professors talking about things that could be read.
All I could think about is my dad and Draco. Nothing made sense and I had been trying to avoid thinking about it. My dad and his dad stuck us together. His dad was a down right loony bin. Mine just went along with everything that Lucius says because they're best friends. Draco went with everything Lucius said as well because it's his father. I.. don't go with anything that my dad says. I don't know why I had agreed. I guess that if I went through with this and everything, then Draco would stop picking on me?
To be honest, Draco wasn't even that bad. It was more so Pansy, then Draco would often make some kind of small comment to go along with it. Crabbe and Goyle would stand behind Draco and watch, cause they don't seem to have a mind of their own. Yet, I have never had a converstation with them so I couldn't tell if that was ture, or just how they acted.
