I made my way to the police station as soon as possible. When I got there an officer lead me to the room where they were holding my brothers. When I got inside there was a long table in the room. On one side, my brothers, on the other side, the police officer and........

ADAM WALKER!!!!

He sat there with a fat lip and broken nose.

"Guys a fight seriously. He's not worth it. He's not worth you guys going to prison" I scolded.

"Pip we know but" Sander stood up " but that's what he get for being an ass"

"I told you already I didn't do it" Adam put in.

"ENOUGH!!!" Officer Pete shouted.

I read his name tag.

"Listen okay, Spencer, is it?"

I nodded.

"Well Mr. Walker here decided that he isn't going to press any charges. So your brothers are off the hook. But if they pull anything like this again I will have to call in your parents. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir" we all say in unison.

"Good. Now get out of here!"

We got outside and were on our way to the car when....

"Spence can we talk...please" Adam pleaded.

I turned around "Do you need a hearing aid, I told you already I don't want anything to do with you" I turned to walk away.

"Spencer wait but you don't understand...." He placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Did you not hear her. She said she doesn't want anything to do with you, I guess maybe it didn't register to you the first time I beat your ass, maybe I should do it again!" Sam then shoved him.

"Look you guys need to stop. Sam and Sander go wait in the car"

"But Spence he's......"

"Hey I can handle myself, just go"

With that they both walked off and went to wait in the car.

"Adam look, I really don't know what crap you're trying to pull here, but it's not working. I know you hooked that thing up there, you said it yourself and ............................You know this explains everything now. That's why you invited me to your party and then you were looking out for me. It was just all a set up. God I'm such an idiot."

"No no no, Spencer you still don't get it, please just hear me out please?"

Let me just get this over and done with.

"See Leigha told me that she wanted me to hook that thing up there so that when you girls were getting ready to walk down the catwalk, some kind if glitter of the sort would fall down and give that kind if shimmery effect, but then it turns out that it was just paint, I really didn't know that's what she was going to do"

Some part of me wants to believe him but I don't know. That excuse sounds rather ridiculous, even though it kinda does sound like Leigha.

"Look Adam I don't know......"

"Spencer why would I lie to you, once I found out that Leigha set me up, when you left the party I broke up with her."

He broke up with her. WOW!!

I was pulled out of my thought when he got down on his knees.

"Spencer I swear to you on my life that I had no idea what she was up to, please, you have to believe me"

Well there was no going back now because honestly I believed him. I believe everything he just said was true.

"Spence I...."

"I believe you" I cut him off.

"You what?" he asked puzzled.

"I said I believe you Adam"

He stood up and oh my cheesecake he was so close. So close I could count everyone of his eyelashes. I swear we were about to kiss. My first kiss...when..

"Alright alright that's enough, lets go pip"

"Seriously Sam this is not the time" I whisper still staring at Adam.

"I don't care lets go!"

"Fine" I grunted

"Hey snarky before you go what's your number"

"Look it up in the phone book" Sam said before practically carrying me to the car and then began to drive off.

By the time we got home it was late mom and dad would be home any second now. But my mind was way too far away to care. I was still thinking about Adam.

Why did I believe him so easily. I guess it's just the fact that he sounded so honest.........so innocent. Like he could do know wrong.

Let's not forget we almost kissed.

Adam's p.o.v

I can't believe we almost kissed. Gosh!! I was so close, but then her brother had to come along. Just great!

But I'm still so glad that she believed me. I don't know what came over me to even be with Leigha in the first place. The girl is a total witch.

I mean yeah I've liked spencer since 5th grade but I realized I was getting nowhere with her so I just decided to move on. But now she's back in my life again. I've got another shot.

Caleb's p.o.v

Here I was chilling out with Adam but he was somewhere else, his mind was far into the depths of thought.

But I had my own problems. Once again I'm caught up thinking about Spencer. At first it was all about how she looked at the party but then talking to her was so different. She was smart, funny and beautiful all at once.

She's just so cool to hang out with and I really enjoy her company.

I'm gonna ask her out and it's not like I have any competition and I doubt Adam even likes her like that. He's my best friend and we tell each other everything and Spencer was not one of the topics. I'm gonna take a shot at her.
