I looked at the piece of paper in my hand and read it several time to make sure I was reading the name right. Daemon was a name meaning Demon. I looked at him in shock. I knew someone who dresses that dark must be evil. He probably tortures children. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little girl he kept hidden in his room.
"Hey! Jackass, the teacher told you to sit down. Are you just gonna stand there looking like an idiot or actually listen?"
"What?" I asked turning to him having not payed much attention to what he was saying.
"Are you deaf? Sit. The. Fuck. Down!" I heard that. He was deffitnitly going to hell. Is he even worth me praying for?
The bell rang for the end of class. While we were packing up I turned to him and said, "Do you even have a soul?" He looked up at me surprised and for a second I thought I had said something to hurt his feelings. "No. I sold my soul a long time ago." Then his face was blank again and he was silent. He didn't sound sarcastic he seemed to be telling me the truth but now our moment of truce was over. He was condemned and I would not go down with him.
He handed me my notebook and walked away. I didn't see him for the rest of the day.

"Hello, are you Michael?" asked a girl who looked to be about 12. She had short blond hair with purple and pink streaks and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a purple Dinosaur t-shirt, black skinny jeans, a rainbow stud belt, and black and purple high-top converse. Her eye liner was kinda heavy too but it just made her eyes look even bigger.
"Yes, who are you?"
"I'm Dani and I was told to show you to the dorms."
"Thanks I guess." I said as she took off. Man this girl is quick.
"Have you made any friends yet?"
"No," I said trying to figure out what was wrong besides the fact that she was too young to be running around a highschool.
"Have you at least met one kid?" She seemed surprised.
"Yeah, one. His name was Daemon. He seemed like the devil spawn if you asked me."
"If you are talking about Daemon Anaretti you couldn't be more wrong. He is anything but evil. He is one of the most - no is the most unselfish person I've ever met. He doesn't care about what will happen to himself. He is loyal and will protect anyone. No matter what they do to him. He may not think he has a soul but he does." We had reached the common room now and I was surprised to hear that. The person who was saying such evil things in their journal was the same person this little girl seemed to hold in such high regard.
Looking at her in the common room showed me what it was I had been missing before. She was the only girl in and all guys school, John Meyer Boy's Academy. "Dani, how old are you adn why do you go to this school."
She started walking down a hallway and motioned for me to keep following her. "I'm sixteen-and-one-half and my mom is the assistant vice principle. This is your room."
I walked in it was a single which meant I didn't have a roommate. "Dani, I have a question."
"What?"
"Are there a lot... a lot of gay's here?"
Her face went blank for a fraction of a second but she smiled again before I could be sure. "This school is accepting of everyone and who they are individualy if that person's sexual prefference is some one of the same sex we don't care."
"Okay thanks." I said not sure of what to say to that. Yesterday I would have argued my case and had her cowering but something in the way she said that made me rethink my opinions or well at least keep them to my self. "Get some rest, Michael, dinner is at 7:00 I'll introduce you to everyone then." She patted my head and left.
