This is a sequel to"Khan's Deliverance" which you can check out on my profile! You sorta have to read that to understand the first part of this. I was evil and ended the last book on a cliffhanger. ;)

. . . . . . . .

Khan. He was by your side, finally. The minor details of his escape you didn't bother to pay attention to, everything was blurring in with the adrenaline and the familiar coursing of blood through your veins, your ears buzzing. And then you were running, far far away, bag in hand. And then you remembered a hologram and a ship, a ship that wasn't his or yours, and then you were off, headed away to someplace new to set up your homes. The bliss nearly overwhelmed you as you glanced over to see Khan, not locked up in a cell, not surrounded by guards, and not in a cryo-tube. He looked at peace, despite his natural instinct to want to be in battle, fighting. You closed your eyes, resting your head back on the seat and sighing.

"__y/n__." He murmured quietly. You hummed a quiet yes in response, leaving your eyes closed.

"Due to our... Situation, we may not have the possibility of public marriage." You finally opened your eyes slowly, turning your head to look at him and smile softly.

"'Don't care. I'd like to have one, but as long as I'm with you, it's alright. I wouldn't want the police or whatever busting my wedding, anyway. Or Kirk flirting with me, because you know he'd invite himself like the arrogant idiot he is." Khan let out a low chuckle.

"He is excessively stubborn. It's irritating."

You smiled widely and leant over in your seat, pressing a small kiss on your fiancé's cheek.

"You're irritating too, but I like you anyway." You teased, raising your eyebrow and smiling. Khan raised an eyebrow back.

""Like"?" He stated in more of a question, eyeing you. You rolled your eyes and grinned.

"Love, fine. Pay attention to where you're going, I don't want you running into any debris and capsizing us on a foreign planet where I can't speak that language. I only learned a few languages in the academy, and the only one I'm fluent in is English, still."

"Maybe we could get you a tutor?"

"Really?"

"You really think a tutor would take you in if you just let a war criminal out of his imprisonment?" Khan glanced at you quizzically again with a smile on his face, causing you to glare at him.

"You're just teasing me now. Stop it. It doesn't suit you." You grumbled. Khan's mouth turned up in the beginnings of a smirk, his eyes falling back on the stars in front of him.

"Well, get used to it. I've not been so cold all my life, I can tease, you know."

"I noticed." You said, smiling.

"That's a first." You gasped, smacking his arm and smiling.

"That's not nice! Don't say stuff like that!" You grinned, and he let out a low laugh.

"Fine. I'll stop for now, but don't expect me to keep up the no teasing forever."

"I preferred you when you were colder." You murmured, glancing at him.

"I didn't talk to you at all certain days..." Khan stated, eyeing you curiously.

"Well, I didn't like that part."

"And I hit you a couple times, which I'm really sincerely sorry about." He mumbled, his forehead now creasing in anxiety.

You grumbled. "I didn't like that bit either."

"And I always looked at you interestingly on purpose." Khan's mouth twitched up in a smirk.

You raised a brow. "You seriously did that on purpose? I thought I always had something on my face!" You smiled and laughed lightly.

"Fine. You can tease me occasionally. But I fell in love with the man you were before, not the flirty, teasing one. So don't change too much." You said, grinning at him as he smiled back.

"Deal done. Just promise to never leave my side." He said, smiling over at you with a look of pure admiration, and love. His brow softened, his eyes full and a small smile on his lips. You nearly melted, smirking at him.

"I wasn't planning on it."
