"This is a terrible idea."

"Can oh my god, get back here right this instant," Tin hissed, panic making his heart race. The smaller boy ignored him and jumped over the chain link fence anyway. Can placed a finger over his mouth and shushed his boyfriend, beckoning the other to hurry up and jump the fence as well. The dark sky made it hard for Tin to see and the sneakers were awkward on his feet as he followed his tiny boyfriend, running after him when the soccer player broke off into a sprint. "Can! This is a terrible idea!"

"Shut up, Ai'Asshole! We'll get in trouble if we get caught!" Can whispered shouted back and Tin found himself rolling his eyes, like he usually did when he talked to Can. He loved the boy, but my god, he was annoying. He followed closely behind the athlete anyway.

The two ran through the grass, only stopping when they reached a small playground. Tin looked at his boyfriend with a confused and indignant face. "This- this is why you called me in the middle of the night?"

Can nodded, oddly quiet with a soft smile on his face. His actions were slow and small, fingertips running across the green plastic of the slide before he sat in a swing. "My mom used to take me here when I was younger. I haven't been in a while but I thought of it earlier, of the memories. I wanted you to be included in those memories too."

Moments like these reminded Tin why he loved Can. Even if the younger was loud, too active, annoying at some points, Can was kind. He was gentle and soft and precious, and Tin loved spending moments with him. He silently followed Can's footsteps, squatting in front of Can, large hands automatically coming up to rest on Can's soft cheeks. "Thank you."

The smile he got in return was all Tin needed to survive. All he needed was Can.
