Love didn't know why he allowed his friends to come over when the summer break started, but sitting next to Tangmo with their friends surrounding him made him anxious. It was weird. Their dynamic hadn't changed since he admitted he was a girl before but everyone walked around eggshells. The only ones who embraced the knowledge were his brother and Tangmo. Vier hadn't mentioned anything but they weren't close anymore. Menn and Nuclear were cool about it but they always apologized when they called him bro. They hadn't seen Sean in a while and every time he was mentioned Vier looked sad so they eventually stopped. He was tired of being treated differently. He won the great man award for christ's sake.

Playing truth or dare didn't help anything. Especially since Nuclear was playing. He was ruthless. Love really liked him and they were close friends, but Nuclear was such a goofball that all of his questions had caused a bit of awkward tension between the friend group. Love was buzzing with anxiety because Nuclear knew he hadn't been asked a question yet, and by the glint in his eyes, he knew he was going to be the next target. Vier finished his dare of a prank call to his mom(Good wasn't really great at giving dares) and asked Nuclear. Nuclear chose dare and soon he and Good had to hug for two minutes straight. It seemed to be a bit of revenge but no matter how chic Good acted, he was secretly a sucker for cuddles, and the two minutes passed with barely any awkwardness. In fact, even after the two minutes were up, Nuclear resituated and lay his head on Good's shoulder. Nuclear made eye contact with Love and the small boy gulped.

"truth or dare, Love?"

"Truth," Love responded, too worried to do anything weird in front of his new friends. Nuclear's smile only grew more playful and Love knew he had made the wrong choice.

"Who would you date out of all of us?"

"Ew. I wouldn't date any of you." Love frowned and Nuclear pouted at the lack of a fun answer, and the smaller boy felt bad for making his friend upset so he amended his answer quickly. "Except maybe Tangmo." Nuclear just rolled his eyes.

"We all know you are already dating, shut up," he mumbled before he told Love to go on and finish his turn. Love asked Menn and once that boy finished his dare, the group decided to call it a night and go to sleep. They all put out blankets in the living room floor and one by one, they fell asleep. Except for Love and Tangmo. The two were staring at one another, faces almost featureless in the dark room.

"Love," Tangmo whispered, scooting his body closer to the smaller boy. Love just responded with a hum and a soft smile. "Can I kiss you?"

"You know you don't have to ask," Love whispered back, leaning forward so the two could share a gentle kiss. Nuclear scoffed from his pillow, making the two of them seperate from shock.

"I wouldn't date any of you," Nuclear mocked, rolling over. "Bullshit."

He was taking it better than Love expected him to.
