"H-How did you-" With wide eyes i breathed out the words and scooted back a bit more. The soft beat of his wings against the air filled the silence.

"Amelia-" He eventually spoke. "You dont belong out here. Lets go."

"Im not going anywhere with you." I snapped at him. Soon enough regretting it, his feet touched the ground and his wings folded away as he raised a brow ever so slowly and crossed his arms.

"Why do you have to be so difficult?" He spat at me causing me to flinch. "You act like an entightled brat!" Lucifers voice rose. "You used to-" He stopped himself and looked away briefly.

"I used to what?" I asked calmly, not wanting to upset him further.

"Forget it." He said. "We're going." He stomped to me and snatched my backpack.

"Im not going anywhere with you. " I repeated quietly while i stood and brushed off my jeans.

"You dont have a choice." He growled as he leaned forward and looked me dead in the eyes. "You belong to me. Remember little one?" He gave a faint and bitter chuckle, because he knew he was right.

"Fine." I snapped and crossed my arms.

"Besides-" He said as he took my wrist. "Ive got something to show you."

"W-What?" I nervously breathed out. "What is it?" He pulled me along to the edge of the pool.

"You'll see." That was all he abrubtly said before he pushed me into the pool, water hit me and filled my lungs, filled my nose, only for a brief second, before i fell onto a cold, and dry floor.

I coughed, hair drenched along with my clothes. Soon enough i heard two feet next to me. Looking up from where i awkwardly laid, he gracefully stood, water dripoing from his frame. I frowned. Lucifer chuckled.

"Get up Kid." He softly spoke. Slowly i did, observing my surroundings, Dark walls toward above me, Draped with red satin, dim lights, hard stoned floors, and doubled doors at the end where a long and dark corridor led. Mirrors with a gold tint glistened above the cieling. Was that where we fell from?

"Yes." He mumbled. I frowned more, he was reading my mind again.

"Where are we?" I asked as Lucifer began taking off his soaked shirt. My eyes widened and a blush crept upon my face as i quickly looked away.

"Hell." He said.

My stomache sank. Was he taking my soul already?

"Oh my god." I ran my fingers back and through my hair. "Am i dead? "

Lucifer laughed hysterically as a shadowed figure enter the room with a tray, upon it was towels and clothing.

"No." He said with a smirk. Taking the towels, he tossed one to me, and dried his hair with the other. Clumsly, i caught it. "Strip." He said.

"What?" My face went red again. He picked up a dress and threw it at me

"Well unless you want to remain in wet clothing." He raised a brow and took a shirt off the tray and began to dress himself so casually and confidently, i had to look away.

"Oh." I said and paused. "Well, dont look. "

Lucifer rolled his eyes and turned his back to me, facing the doors away from the mirrors. "Happy?" He groaned in annoyance.

"Absolutely." I sarcastically bit back.

"You know-" He paused as if debating wether to say what was on his mind, his voice softened while i undressed and redressed myself. "You used to not have this much of a bite in you." His words caused me to stop in my tracks.

"What?" I breathed out and furrowed my brows. Did he mean when we first met? I chuckled. "Well im not as scared of you as i used to be, you know."

"Not what i meant." Lucifer sighed softly. I could only make out a few words.

"You confuse me." I spoke abrubtly as i looked down to the pale colored dress that draped around me perfectly, it was an older styled dress, plain pale pink, with beads around the neck, the sleeves flowed out, and oddly it felt fimiliar.

"Do i?" He chuckled. "Do I Frustrate you too?" He laughed softly. I crossed my arms after pulling up my hair with a hair tie that was on my wrist. I studied his back, which was faced towards me, and his wet hair that fell along to his shoulders.

"Yes you do." I raised a brow.

"Do i frustrate you sexually?" His tone was joking and amused, but my face went red. I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off before i could. "God knows i used to." He trailed off with a quiet sigh.

"You can turn around now." I
mumbled, desperate for a subject change, and so he did. His eyes met mine softly and trailed to view the dress on me. Something in his stance changed, his eyes had widened a bit, and his brows furrowed. He looked away and crossed his arms with a slight frown. "What on earth are you talking about? " I questioned.

"What do you mean?" He avoided it and raised a brow.

"You keep saying things like 'You used to!' What does that even mean?" I tilted my head and studied him for any given facial expression. He had none.

"Youll understand soon." lucifer breathed out. "Perhaps."

"Why cant I understand now?" I snapped out of frustration.

"Because-" His tone sharpened slightly. "You just.. Wont get it Amelia." He scolded with a sigh before pressing his lips thinly together. I stepped forward to him.

"Then explain it to me Luce. Stop treating me like such a child." I didnt know why i needed to know so bad, or what answer i was even searching for. But deep down, i felt that there was an elephant in the room, and i just couldnt seem to see it.

"I will." He nodded. "When the time is right, As for now, why not rest? Its been an awfully long day for you. Ill show you to your room, meanwhile, I have things to take care of."

"What if i dont want to stay here?" I questioned back, though part of me did want to stay.

"Need I remind you Amelia, You belong to me." He smirked bitterly. "Frankly, You have no choice in the matter."
