Jac awoke to the sound of running water. She opened her eyes, a little disorientated and realised Fletch must have been up already and was now in the shower. She turned over and reached off the bed to grab her phone on the bedside table. 9 am. Jac wasn't used to being able to sleep in this late on a Saturday morning as usually she had Emma jumping on her bed by 7:30. She unlocked her phone and sent a text to Sasha.

Hey Sasha,
How's the little monkey been? Hope she slept okay. Sorry I didn't text last night but it was getting late by the time we arrived so didn't want to disturb you. Tell Emma that Mummy loves her and I'll be home tomorrow. Have a lovely weekend with all those kids running around.

A few moments later her phone bleeped alerting her of Sasha's reply.

Morning, she's been great and has loved spending time with the others, especially Theo ; )
Enjoy your weekend away doing whatever you're doing. You better tell me what you've been up to when you get back Ms Naylor. Emma says she loves you too. Also "we"?

At that precise moment the bathroom door opened and Jac's head snapped up from her phone. Fletch stepped out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his dripping waist, his chest bare. Jac swallowed and looked back down at her phone hurriedly as soon as their eyes met. She chose to ignore Sasha's question.

"Morning sleeping beauty." He smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"Ever the charmer Mr Fletcher." She replied and swung her legs off the edge of the bed and pushed herself up. Stepping past him, she made her way into the bathroom and shut the door. Fletch continued to smirk and retreated back to his own room to get dressed. He threw on his suit trousers and did up his shirt, leaving the top few buttons undone for now. When he was comfortable he laid on the bed and picked up his phone to pass the time.

After half an hour Fletch stood up from the bed and gingerly opened the door and peered into Jac's room. His eyes found her stood in front of the mirror wearing a black outfit. Classic Naylor, Fletch thought to himself with a smile.
"You look nice." He spoke softly and watched as Jac flinched at the sudden sound of his voice behind her. She didn't bother to turn to face him but Fletch knew that she was smiling.
"Can you do my zip up please?" She asked quietly. He stepped forward and reached for the zip. A shiver was sent down Jac's spine as his fingers brushed against the skin on her back as he did it up. She mentally scolded herself for having a reaction but it couldn't be helped; her back was still sensitive from her recovery, even in the unwounded areas.

By the time they were completely ready to go it was 10:30 which left them half an hour to drive the short journey to the church. They didn't want to risk being late so left promptly and climbed into the car, Jac clicking down the corridors with her heels. When they finally parked up the car opposite the church Fletch turned to face Jac.
"Ready?" Jac sucked in a breath and unclipped her seatbelt.
"Yep." And out they got. Fletch walked round the back of the car to meet her on the pavement and offered his hand to hold. She took it and he clutched hers tightly and lead them across and into the church. They slipped into a few spare seats at the back and decided to keep the introductions to family until later if possible.

The ceremony dragged on much to Jac's disgust and she began to get restless. Fletch noticed this and put a hand on her thigh and squeezed it reassuringly and she eventually sat still. However the reception wasn't quite as painful, mainly because they could have as much alcohol as they could afford to get them through the night. As he had predicted, Jac started to make her way over to the bar as soon as the speeches had finished and the party had started. However Fletch stepped in front of her, stopping her in her tracks. She folded her arms across her chest and glared at him.

"If you're about to tell me that it's too early to start drinking, I don't care." She snapped.
"Oh no Ms Naylor, I would never dream of doing that. I was just going to ask what you wanted. How would that look if I was letting my girlfriend buy her own drinks?" He replied and received another Naylor eye roll but she accepted and let him come with her to the bar.

Once they were armed with alcohol they entered the room and searched for a table. They selected one in the back corner which was dimmed away from the disco lighting.
"So what's it gonna take to get you on that dance floor then?" He asked with a smirk.
"Well either a lot of alcohol or someone starts dying out there." She replied with an equal smirk. However Jac was oblivious to Fletch taking a mental note of this and gradually refilling her glass until she was slightly tipsy. She only realised when she stood up and announced that she was going to the loo and nearly fell flat onto Fletch's lap.
"Woah there Naylor, you okay?" He asked with a hint of concern as he caught her before she hit her head on the table.
"Yep just fine thanks." She replied but made no attempt to move.
"Come dance with me?" He whispered in her ear.
"Fine if it gets you to shut up." She agreed with a roll of the eyes again. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards where everyone was dancing with a smug grin on his face.

However as they set foot on the dance floor the current upbeat lively song ended and a slow song started. Jac span round and started to retreat to her chair once more.
"No thank you." She called over her shoulder but was stopped in her tracks when a hand clasped her wrist tightly, restricting her from moving any further.
"Oh come on Naylor, just this one? Pleaseeeee?" She turned to face a pleading Fletch but didn't get a chance to respond before she was tugged  forward. She stumbled and crashed into his chest with a thump, hands out in front of her now pressed up against him. He wrapped his arms around her to hold her up and gazed down at her with a small smile. She tilted her head up to look into his eyes and suddenly stood up on her tiptoes. Her lips met his softly, waiting for him to respond. When he did it was a passionate kiss and she knew that they were breaking her biggest rule and no-go area for this weekend away but she couldn't care less; she was entitled to break her own rules if she wanted to. And she did want to, very much so. She hadn't realised until this very moment how much she admired the man who was stood holding her to his chest.

When they had to eventually break away for air, Jac grinned up at him and whispered in his ear pretending to say something sexy, "Can I go to the toilet now?"
