Chapter Three.
The Moons Glare.
"Today class" said Mr Nicholas. "We shall try to hit Targets that are in the air".
"excuse me sir" said James. "I've only just started, I can't hit targets too well".
Even Zor knew that this would be a very hard challenge. "Try your best Boy!"
said Mr Nicholas. Zor knew that if he gets this perfectly, he will get a Proper bow.
Mr Nicholas counted down to the start. "Three, Two, ONE, GO!". the targets started
swinging from the roof and the walls. The targets were everywhere. Up, down,
left and right. James tried his best, but he only hit three targets. Zor on the other
hand, got every single target with a bulls-eye. "You've done well Zor" said Mr
Nicholas. "You may now take your proper bow". Zor was Ecstatic. He had never had
any sort of proper bow in his life. "Thank you" said Zor. James wasn't so
impressed. "My bow was broken" said James. "Its OK James" said Zor.
"I'm not a necromancer". "I know" said James. "But I thought it would be easy".
"I'll see you tomorrow James" said Zor. "Whats happening tomorrow?"
said James. "Oh right, the princess's party". "See you later James" said Zor.
Zor then went to the Cooking Class to walk his twin sisters home. His sisters
names were Jessica and Jamie. "Hello twins" said Zor. "Hi Zor" said the twins.
Zor noticed that Jessica was carrying a book of water spells. "Where did you get
that spell book Jess?" Ask Zor, looking very confused. "Oh, I found it in the trash"
said Jessica. " I told her she wasn't aloud to dumpster dive" said Jamie.
"Jamie's right Jess, it could be cursed or something" said Zor. "OK" said Jessica.
"But at least my nose isn't huge like your's". "Ouch!" Said Jamie. Zor said nothing,
he knew they were joking, but he still thought that should not say that at all.
"Jess, Give me the book please" said Zor. "Why should I?" Said Jessica.
"Because Mum, Dad and I need to check it for a curse" said Zor
"Whatever" said Jessica. "Here you go". Jess handed the book over to Zor.
"Thank you" said Zor. "Mum and Dad can look at it tonight".
For the rest of the walk home, they were all quiet.
"Were home" called Zor. "Yay, Zor your home!" said his youngest sister, Bella.
"Hello Bella" said Zor. "How was your day?" "OK I s'pose" said Bella.
"Are the others back yet?" asked Zor. "Yes" said Bella. "Towr is in bed though".
"Is he alright?" asked Zor. "Yes" said Bella. "We think he just got beat up at
school, that all". "OK" said Zor. Just then, Zor's third youngest brother came
into the room. "Hi" said Vin. "Hi Vin" said Zor. "Good day?" "Yeah" said Vin.
"Where's Mum?" asked Zor. "Out the back with Dad" said Bella. "Thanks"
said Zor. Zor went out o the back of his house, where he found his parents.
"Hi Mum. Hi Dad" said Zor. "Hello" said Susan and Peter. "Did you get your bow?"
Asked Susan. "I did!" Said Zor, cheerfully. "congratulations" said Peter.
"I also got this" said Zor, holding up the spell book. "What is it?" asked Peter.
"Its a water spell book" said Zor. "Jess had it". "OK" said Susan. "We will check
it for curses". "Thanks" said Zor. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going too bed".
"Bed?" said Susan, very confused. "Its only Five'o'clock. "I know" said Zor.
"But I'm really tired". "Well...OK" said Susan. So Zor went to get ready for bed.
"If that spell book isn't cursed, I could take it to James's house tomorrow".
Zor thought to himself as he fell asleep. Then, every thing started to change.
"What's this?" Zor thought. "Is this a dream?" Suddenly, Zor heard a strange
sound from behind him. "Who's there?" Said Zor. Then, he appeared at
the pricess's party. "How did I get here?" Thought Zor. He saw himself looking
at the moon. "Why am I looking at the moon?" Thought Zor. "And why am I holding
that book?" It was the spell book Jessica had given him. Everyone started
cheering, for the princess came out to the party. "Good evening everyone"
said princess Molly. As the princess said "Welcome to my party", the book
began to glow. It glowed brighter, and brighter until its light shone up at the
moon. "Whats happening?" said Zor, wearily. Then the moon turned black
and a strong wind blew over everyone. As the wind blew over, everyone started
disappearing, one by one. All that is, except princess Molly and Zor. The real
Zor at this time was Freaking out. "Where has everyone gone!" Yelled Zor.
"Why is that book a part of it?". Suddenly, the book started glowing again.
It cast a silver wind that collided with the black wind. The Battle was intense.
Black verse White. The Silver wind was growing weaker by the minute. Untill,
the dream Zor help up the book of water spells. The silver wind started charging
towards the Black wind, and when it collided, the black wind was destroyed
and all the people were returned. Zor could not believe it. "This strange book
that Jess found, will be what saves hundreds of people!"
