I've totally neglected to make an update to this story. I sincerely apologize! Anyways here's a new chapter(:

As I regained conciousness, I became aware of the repetitive beep from above me. I strugged to open my eyes. As I did so a painful light met my eyes. I attempted reach my arm up to sheild my eyes, but it was quickly grabbed by large hands.

"Dawn? Dawn you're awake!"

"Hmm..?" I mumbled dazily.

"Oh thank god," the voice was gravely and slow.

It sounded kinda familiar but I couldn't exactly put my finger on who it was.

"Dawn it's me, Harry."

That name sounded familiar too. My heart sped up at the sound of it, as well as a slow throbbing ache beginning in my chest.

I stayed silent as I didn't really know how to respond.

"What's wrong? You remember me right?"

All this time I had been staring at the ceiling, not bothering to move and look at the source of the voice. I slowly shifted to my side and took in my surroundings.

A bland hospital room, a gigantic bouquet of flowers, and oh lets not forget the gorgeous boy staring at me worriedly. Seeing his face multiplied my pulse, and the throbbing in my chest intensified.

Whoever this guy is, I must have had one crazy relationship with him.

"Oh god you don't remember anything, do you?" he asked me.

"Uh if you count my name and my relatives, yeah," I responded slowly.

He got up from his chair and stomped out of the room.

I could hear yelling in the hallway and frantic voices. Eventually Harry returned, but with a doctor trailing behind him.

"What the hell is wrong? Why can't she remember me?" Harry yelled.

The doctor, looking sympathetic, turned his attention toward me and said, "The accident caused major trauma to the head, which may have caused some amnesia." He paused for a moment before continuing, "The length of this condition is unpredictable. At best, she should return to normal in a few weeks to a month. But some never recover."

I looked over at Harry. His face was contorted with a mixture of anger and absolute pain.

"Is there any way to help it?" He asked after a long silence.

"Bring her to some places she used to frequent, or maybe take her back home. Try to get her mind jogging. But for now she needs rest. She should be ready to go home in a couple of days," the doctor said with a hopeful tone.

"Thanks," Harry muttered.

The doctor quietly left. Harry sat back down in the chair next to me and stared at me, not saying a word.

"If it helps any, everything about you is familiar to me. And I have a feeling we were... close."

"If you call 2 weeks a good time to get close," he chuckled.

"You're likable. So I could see how that was possible," I said quietly.

He smiled and took my hand into his. "I don't think anyone is as likable as you, Dawn." He then leaned down to kiss my forehead.

How in hell did I get this lucky?
