Cassie was in her locker, She was about to head for the cafeteria, But her ex-boyfriend Xavier got in her way.

Cassie: (harshly) What Xavier?

Xavier: I saw the news, Electric powers.....nice......zap zap (chuckles).

Xavier notice that Cassie was still ticked off about what happened on the field trip.

Xavier: What's your problem, Don't tell me you're still into that ice of the nerd herd.

Cassie: Jason knows how to treat a girl and he was still perfect before he had ice powers. Besides I don't date guys who try to kill other students with an ax.

Xavier was shocked, He didn't realized Cassie knew about the ax.

Xavier: Hey, I told him to stay away from you that's all.

Cassie: You chased him in quaratine area and this never would've happen if you weren't so jealous.

Xavier became more furious at Jason.

Cassie: And another thing..I'm better off without boys like you!

Xavier: Oh, So you're just going to become a freak like Macgrath.......Pathetic, Stupid.

Xavier storms off and Cassie had her head, But she was crying silently, tears was streaming down her eyes, Jason notice that Cassie was crying. She lifts her head up a little.

Cassie: Uh?

Jason carefully stroke Cassie's hair and then he taps her nose, She giggles, just little bit. Jason rubs the left side of Cassie's face, She closes her eyes and leans into it.

Jason: It's going to be okay, We are not freaks, Dr. Trevor said it himself. I promise you, Everything will be okay.

Jason and Cassie hugs each other

Cassie: Okay

Location: 5:15, Macgrath Residence

Jason went upstairs to his old room to grab his laptop, He forgot to pack it for when he first moved in with Dr. Trevor and his friends. He quietly went downstairs and tries to head for the door, He was almost outside, But his parents caught him.

Mr. Macgrath: Jason......Come Back Here.

Jason walks to the living room and saw his disappointed parents.

Mr. Macgrath: You got something you want to tell us, Like what was on the news?

Jason: No

Mr. Macgrath: What do you mean "No"?

Jason: I don't know what you're talking about.

Mr. Macgrath: Jason, Don't play dumb with us, What did we just see on the news?!

Jason: I don't follow

Mrs. Macgrath: We saw you and three other teenagers fighting some big........man. And the news told us that these kids have powers.

Jason walks out of the living room and was stop by his parents, He turns around and face them.

Mrs. Macgrath: Don't you dare go out that door, We need to talk about this.

Jason takes his laptop and went out the door.

Mr. Macgrath: Jason, Do not leave this house.

It was too late, Jason left.

Mrs. Macgrath: What's wrong with him?

Location: 5:22, Stones Residence

Cassie sat down with her parents and they were very, very disappointed.

Mr. Stones: Seriously, I knew something was up, Superpowers and you didn't even bother to tell us.

Mrs. Stones: Why did you keep this from us? We could've help you.

Cassie: Because I don't want your help......Besides somebody's already caring about me.

Mrs. Stones: A boy?

Mr. Stone: We'll talk about boys later, Right now we have something important to deal with, You and these powers you have.

Cassie: Everything's fine, I already know how to control them.

Mr. Stones: Everything's not fine, You always come home late, An explosion from Meta Institute hit you, You never bother to talk to us about your problems and now you have powers. Starting to tomorrow we're going to find a way to fix you.

Cassie: You want to talk about my problems.......Fine!

Mrs. Stones: Cassie

Cassie: My ex-boyfriend is trying to kill someone because he's jealous, Dad you always been pushing my buttons and getting on my nerves late, Mom you've always say that things will be better......But never do!

Cassie begins to have tears streaming down her eyes and begins to be upset.

Cassie: And another thing, I'm going to use my powers to help a lot of people.

Mr. Stones walks to his daughter furiously and sits down.

Mr. Stones: This isn't up for discussion, like it or not, you're going to be fixed. Until then you're grounded for a week.

Cassie: You can't ground me.

Mr. Stones: And why is that?

Cassie gets up and opens the door.

Cassie: Because I don't live here anymore!

She rushes out and runs away from her parents house.

Mrs. Stones: Cassie!

Mrs. Stones looks at her husband and sits next to him.

Mrs. Stones: I'm concerned Jermiah

Mr. Stones: We're gonna have to be a bit more strict.

Cassie kept running, Until she bumps to into Jason, Cassie throws herself on Jason and hugs him.

Cassie: (crying) Jason

Jason comforts her and rubs her head.

Jason: It's okay......it's okay.

Jason and Cassie holds onto each other and walks their way to Dr. Trevor Private Building.
