Beep....Beep...Beep...

Blue eyes slowly blinked open. The sound of a beeping noise woke her up. Shutting her eyes tight she slowly opened them again and saw white. Am I dead? That thought rolled around in her brain. Slowly coming to, she looked around and noticed she was in a hospital. "You're awake." A female voice said. Slowly turning her head, She noticed a nurse in blue scrubs standing by the door. "Um, where's my brother?" The girl asked her voice still a little hoarse from just waking up. The nurses face went from smiling to sad. "I'm sorry sweetie, but your brother didn't make it." Michelle stared at the nurse.

Blink...

Blink Blink...

Then she screamed. "AHHHH!" Clawing at the needles in her arm and pulling them out along with everything else, She wobbly got up to her feet, The nurse rushed over but she pushed her away and stumbled out the door. Hitting the wall on the opposite side hard, She stumbled down the hall.

Dimitri and Jj were in the lobby wanting to know about the girl when they heard a scream and then yelling. Looking up both were shocked to see the girl stumbling down the hall a frantic nurse right behind. "Michelle, you need to get back in bed." "No! Where is He!?" She screamed in her face. "Excuse me miss?" Dimitri watched as her head snapped towards him and When their eyes met, he knew why Constintine was acting possessive and crazy. This girl is his mate.

"Hello? Anyone in there?" He heard when he came back. "Oh sorry about that. But I'm the officer who arrived on scene first and this is my partner Jj,  but I'm sorry but your brother has passed on." He watched her eyes get wide, then narrow in anger. "No!" She said pounding his chest. "He can't be dead!" Dimitri wrapped his arms around her as her fists slowly stopped. "No..." She said in a whisper. If it wasn't for his werewolf hearing he wouldn't have heard her. "I'm sorry officers but she needs to get back in bed." The nurse explained.

"I will bring her back." Dimitri said. Not caring the nurse nodded and he lifted her up bridal style and carried her back. In the room, He laid her on the bed noticing that she fell back asleep. "Sorry about that officer." "Its no problem." He told her. Looking one last time at his mate, He turned and headed out. The nurse sighed and hooked the girl back up.

Dimitri walked back out and met Jj in the lobby. "She's your mate isn't she?" Jj asked. All Dimitri did was shake his head yes. Jj sighed. "Its a horrible thing to go through when you lose a family member." Jj told him knowing he was talking about Dimitri's father who was killed by rouges as he was trying to protect his mate. They killed his father first and then his mother making him the Alpha at 16. He made Jj his Beta and other friend Sebastian his third in command as his Gamma. Sitting down He scrubbed his face and sighing. It was going to be a long night.
