Ch. 9

Sam's Pov:

What happened next was just a quick swift motion. All I know is that her lips was pressed against mine gently.

She pulled away slowly and looked deeply into my eyes.
I could feel myself blush and I can also feels Selena's eyes burning into my back.

"Er um....." was the only thing that came out of my mouth. "If you want to be with me, you have to open up to your friends because I can sense that they don't know." She said in a matter of fact tone. But for some reason I couldn't process it, it was like she was speaking in a different language to me. "I don't know what you're talking about Veronica and I'm not ready to tell them."

"Well by the looks of it one of them knows now." She said with a smirk. She turned on her heels and walked right past selena heading out of the store.

"I KNEW YOU WERE A LESBIAN!" Selena shouted for the whole store to hear with a squeal.

I groaned silently but smiled. I couldn't stay mad at her, she deserves to know the truth after all and Mya does to. They are my besties they are supposed to support me all the way till I make some dumb choice and they say hell nah but this isn't a choice. This me for who I am as a person and I shouldn't feel afraid to tell them.

"Selena we will discuss this at home but in the meantime let's get some ice cream."

Once again, selena squealed and dragged me to coldstones like she's a fucking 5 year old but hey this is better than her being crazy.

Selena's Pov:

Finally Sam came out of the closet, if she didn't I was gonna break down the door myself.

We ordered our ice cream and sat down at the table. It was oddly quiet so I started up a conversation. "Sam how come you never told us?" I questioned

I noticed she shift a little in her chair like she knew this question was going to be brought up. "Well....I was afraid that you guys was gonna look at me differently, I even thought I was going to lose you guys and by the way, I'm bisexual."

I nodded at her response. "One congratulations bisexual queen for coming out but two, you weren't going to lose us we love you and accept you for who you are. Don't be afraid to smack down and tells us something so you can feel comfortable. Girl remember how I told y'all I wasn't pregnant out of the blue? And y'all just said THANK THE LORD JESUS? It's just like that but with cake and ice cream cuz we gonna celebrate"

Sam laughed and we continued to eat our ice cream in peace.

We continued to talk about the local LGBT community until I got a unfamiliar text from an unfamiliar number.

Unknown: Selena remember me 😏

Mya's Pov:

As I was pulled back, I jerked my shoulders from the hands of the stranger and then turned around to face them only to see a familiar one.

"What are you doing here? I thought we were meeting at the Cheesecake Factory" I asked him, trying my best to keep calm.

"And I thought we were meeting at five but it's six now. I thought something happened to you when you didn't show up, I come searching and worrying around you only to catch you here stalking some guy I don't even know!" He raises his voice loudly.

I looked down at my cell phone and checked the time, my screen brightly flashed the numbers "6:03". My eyes widen when I saw those numbers and the first thing that popped in my head was "shit he was right".
