"Hello..." Lauren says as she knocks on my door
"What do you want Lauren?" I ask
"Can I come in?" She asks
"Why" I say
"...I'm sorry that I kicked your boyfriend out" she says as she opens the door
"He's not my boyfriend" I say
"Ex boyfriend" she says
"...I'm sorry that I freaked out on you, it's just I spent so much of my life on him, it feels weird just throwing that away" I say
"But... he's an asshole?" She says
"Yeah... but I dedicated so much of my life to that asshole" I say
"I know the feeling" she says
"Do you" I say
"Yeah actually I do. A few months ago my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me out of the blue" she says
"Why? Did she ever tell you?" I ask
"Not really. She called me over, told me I was a mess and she needed to "empty out the clutter" or some shit and then it was over" she says
"Clutter?" I ask
"Yeah... I guess I was holding her back or something" she says looking like she wanted to cry
"Damn, I'm sorry" I say
"Yeah it's fine... I'm over it" she says shaking any sign of emotion off of her face

"Do what?" She asks
"Hide that your capable of being vulnerable" I laugh
"I'm not hiding anything" she laughs
"Well if it's any consolation, I don't think you're clutter" I say
"Thanks?" She says
"Kind of bitchy but everyone needs a bitch in their lives right?" I smile
"I suppose" she laughs
"Look at that" I smile
"What now" she laughs
"Miss bitch face can smile after all" I laugh
"Yeah well miss bitch face is very selective with her smiles" she says
"I can tell" I laugh
