The start of something new

Kalani POV
I've been looking for a job for the past month, and i still have no luck. I just pray that i could get it together. Saint was still paying for the hotel and i was starting to feel bad for him, but if he stops paying for the hotel i won't have anywhere to live. I didn't have any friends and i was totally alone.
I was sitting in the lobby with a laptop and eating brunch, stressed the fuck out.
"Hello beautiful, is anyone sitting here?" A man asked. "Yes. Bye" i said without looking up. After i heard a group of men laughing i looked up and over to them, giving them the mean mug of there lives. I looked up at a beautiful man with brownskin, waves on his head, beautiful brown eyes and big pink lips. He was so tall it was crazy and his fit was on point. Even though he was fine as hell, i was not giving him a chance.
I grabbed all my stuff and walked off and went to my room.

(Later that night)
I was taking a bubble bath relaxing. I was done stressing. I was going to go buy some movies and some junk food and have some fun by myself in my suite tonight. I got out of the tub and put my hair in a bun and put on my pink nike jump suit with my white nike shoes. I made sure i had everything i needed before i left.
I got on the elevator, pressed the ground floor botton and instantly looking down at my phone. "Aye hold the door for me" i heard a voice. Before i could hold it the man from earlier caught it. It was a long way down and this elevator was slow.

"Hey um, i didn't mean to scare you earlier." He said with the most sexiest voice.
"It's fine" i said dryly
"I just thought you were beautiful, and thought i could take you out sometime." He said with his head down. I could tell that he was shy from his body language.
"You don't even know me" i said annoyed.
"I just want to get to know you. I'm not a bad guy, i can prove it." He said turning towards me.
"Ok... Tomorrow at 8. I'll see you in the lobby" i said before getting off the elevator.

I decided to get some romance movies, scary movies and action movies. I got every snack at the snack bar and charged it to saint's tab like i do everyday. Tonight was going to be a chill night for me.
I fell asleep during the 6th movie which was IT mostly because i hate clowns. I woke up to my phone ringing and the number that displayed on the screen was unfamiliar.

Hello?
Hi, may i speak with Kalani please?
Umm this is she..
Hello, Miss Kalani! I understand that  you're not aware that you have a grandmother on your mother's side. Her name was Rose and she has recently passed a month ago. She wanted you to attend the reading of her will, do you need a ride?
Um yes.....
Okay, we will need your address so your ride will be ready to come get you in an hour.

"I don't remember a grandma..." I said to myself. I got up and took a shower and did my hygiene. I slipped on a yellow fit flare romper dress and paired it with nude wedges, i paired my outfit with diamonds, let my natural hair flow down my back. I grabbed my mk purse and the sunglasses to match.

"Hey!" The man called running to me.
"Oh hey!" I said turning toward him.
"I noticed, i didn't get your name" he said with a smile. His teeth was so white and straight.
"Kalani" i said with a smile
"Okay, I'm kenny" he said
"Okay Kenny! I'll see you tonight" i said rushing to the car outside.

I was nervous about this upcoming situation.
