Cynder's Pov-

I released Optimus from the grip of the hug. It possibly was hard for me to remember who I can trust around here. Optimus, Ratchet, and Bee. There was a possibility of Arcee, but we never really talk much. Could there be some reason to this. No, I shook my head with a smile laughing quietly.

Cynder*Buzzing*-"I think Megatron is in for some trouble next time."

Op-"Yes...But you are not going to fight anytime soon. Understood."

I rolled my optics and nodded my head simply.

Cynder*Buzzing*-"Can I still do scoutings? I don't not want to be able to do nothing at all."

He sighed this time he was the one to nod giving up. I began to walk away, Carter needed to be picked up. It was a Friday thankfully to. Waving in farewell to Optimus I took off towards the school, one of my favorite songs playing over the radio.

"I remember black skies lightning all around me.

I remember each flash, as time began to blurr.

Like a startling sign that fate had finally found me.

And your voice was all I heard.

That I get what I deserve.

So give me reason to prove me wrong,

to wash this memory clean

Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes.

Give me reason to fill this hole, to connect the space between.

Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies. Across this New Divide."

Carter jumps in instantly hearing the song, and he sang along, being in love with the band's music.

"There was nothing in sight, but memories left abandoned.

There was nowhere to hide the ashes fell like snow.

And the ground caved in between where we were standing.

and your voice was all I heard that I get what I deserve.

So give me reason to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean.

Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes. Across this New Divide."

There was a pause where we both laughed some before signing once more to the music.

"In every loss, in every lie, in every truth that you deny.

And each regret and each goodbye was a mistake to great to hide.

And your voice was all I heard that I get what I deserve.

So give me reason to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean.

Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes.

Give me reason to fill this hole connect the space between

Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies. Across this New Divide."

The song ended with a cheering Carter. Heck and we think Miko is bad with slash monkey. Linkin Park was just our muse. To the both of us they were special. Not realizing it, we had come upon base. By this time we were already rocking to another song. Final Masquerade by the same band. Only did we stop sining when Ratchet and Ironhide stood there looking as if I had grown two helms, Carter two heads.

Cynder*Buzzing*-"What? Can't handle our awesome singing can you?"

Ironhide-"Uh..."

Ratchet walked away from them shaking his head...cursing. Not the first time. Bee walked closer to use from his spot on the couch.

Bee*Radio*-"I...Thought...You...Were...Good."

Carter got out putting his ear buds in, walking off no doubt to find Miko and Jack. On the other hand I transformed quickly laughing. Bee thought we were good? Man was he wrong. He gave me an odd look, but I kept on laughing. Ironhide soon joining in with me while Bee had no idea what just happened.

Cynder*Buzzing*-"Bee...that was so bad for me and Carter. I'm not a singer. He might be. Not me."

Ironhide finally seemed to get along with me after our fight. I released a final chuckle looking between them as I went to the couch, 'Bee right behind me then sitting next to me. He finally laughed slightly noticing what I said was true.

Cynder*Buzzing*-"We so sucked."

(I suck at singing too XD but love 'New Divide' by Likin Park. 'Final Masquerade' also by them. <3)
