Y/N's POV
Aaron sighed.
"You hungry? I am...heh..." He seemed annoyed from the encounter with that woman.
"Yeah...I could eat..." I said back.
"Let's go."
The walk to the bar was quiet, and I was getting anxious and started fumbling through my pockets when I stabbed my hand with the strange scale thing.
"Ow!" I spit out from the pain.
"Y/N?! You...alright?" Aaron quickly reacted and turned around to see what was wrong.
"I'm f-fine! I just bit my tongue!" I smiled.
"Oh...okay then?" He seemed to buy the lie, which was good.
'That scale...maybe I could sell it! For Aaron's ship!' I thought.
"Hey, um...I'm going to check out the Trade shop real quick...I wanna see if there are any new weapons worth buying...You go on ahead to the bar and eat..." I told Aaron.
"Okay? Well, be there soon...Don't wanna lose you too..." He muttered the last part, and I'm sure he intended for me not to hear it, even though I did.
I smiled and waved goodbye to Aaron as I walked to the Trade shop down the street.
'This thing is so cool, I've never seen it, so it must be worth a lot!!' I smiled as I talked to myself in my thoughts, it was comforting.
I opened the door to the shop looking in at all the things hanging on the walls and on displays.
"Well! If it ain't lil Y/N?! Watcha got for meh lass?" A familiar male said.
"Hi Connor..." (OC) I smiled as I walked up to the ginger.
I pulled out the scale in my pocket and looked at the blood red color displayed on it.
"Well! I've never seen one of those, Can I see it?" Connor asked curiously.
"Well, yeah? I came to see if you knew what it was, and I want to know how much you'd trade for it."
He looked over the scale deeply. "Like I said, I've never seen it before...So...How 'bout five copper?" He smiled.
"FIVE COPPER?! That's nothin! Give me the damn thing, I'll keep it then." I growled.
"Sorry Lass...I can't offer much for what I don't know..." He smiled.
I sighed. 'So much for Aaron's ship money...'
"Well, I have to go Connor, Aaron's waiting..."
"He's here? Tell him I said Hi!" Connor said as I walked out the door.
"Will DO!" I smiled back and headed for the bar.
I closed the door and gazed at the scale in my hand.
'Worthless...' I said in my mind and put the scale into my pocket.
I sighed and headed off for the bar.

"So you're from the Kingdom?" Tavari asked.
"Yeah..." I mumbled feeling a bit of homesickness.
I looked over by the Sea Bun King. "Is the King..."
"Sleeping? Yes, happens easily with Sea Buns..."
He laughed. "Oh...How rude...I'm Tavari...A soul Merfolk who lives alone..."
