They got to school and every single girl except Jade started to swoon over Brett. They started to swarm him like a bunch of bees around honey. She just rolled her eyes because this happens every morning and headed to her locker. She opened it and a note fell out.

She pulled out a pen and put a big red X in the no box. Stephen was the guy who's been trying to get in her pants sense freshman year.
Once lunch rolled around she found Stephen and pulled him to the side. "Whoa baby, if you wanted to play rough all you had to do was ask." Stephen said reaching for her butt. Jade slapped his had away and said "Stephen what the actual fuck?! I told you I don't like you a million times! Stop trying to get in my pants." She shoved the note in his face and went to eat lunch with Brett like she always did.
"What was that about?"
"Just Stephen trying to have sex with me Again."
"What'd he pull this this time"
"He wrote a note like a third grader"
"That dumbass"
Brett and Jade continued to talk and eat and when lunch was over they went to their own classes. She had science while Brett had math.
Once school was over they left and Brett dropped Jade off at her house. "Did you tell him yet?" Jade's sister Val excitedly asked her. Jade and Val were super close so they knew everything about each other.
"No, I didn't tell my best friend that I've known since childhood that I've had a big WHOPING crush on him since middle school!" Jade spat sarcasticly
"Umm J-Jade?" Val said hesitantly with a worried expression on her face, staring at something behind her younger sister.
Jade noticed and said "Wait what's wrong?"
Val pointed behind Jade.
She turned around and as soon as she did, Jade's smile fell "Well fuck.."
Little did she know just before Jade plainly stated that she had a crush on Brett, he walked through the door and heard the whole thing.
