History class went by so slow, and I'm just guessing that it was because I was so anxious to know what Luke had to say. It had to be that reason because I've never run so fast out of a classroom in my entire life.
I'm at the entrance of Building 2 when I'm picked up off my feet and lifted off the ground and onto a cold metal bar.
Before I could scream, a giant hand covered my mouth, making my noises into muddled screams.
"LUKE! PUT ME ON THE GROUND!" I turned around to find a guy who definitely wasn't Luke. He had rather curly dirty blondish hair, and it was secured at the top with a red bandana. He had holes in his shirt and his jeans, and he literally looked like a homeless boy roaming outside of our school.
"You don't look so happy to see me, love?" He spoke to me as if he should be offended that I didn't wanna see him, but I have no clue who this guy is.
"Am I supposed to know you?" He looked at me with a mysterious smirk and spoke.
"Irwin. Ashton Irwin is the name." I remembered Niall talking about Ashton Irwin... That was the party, and this is the guy.
"Oh! Yeah my friend invited me as his date to your party tonight."
He chuckled, but I'm not sure how what I just said could make someone laugh.
"That's why Luke wants you."
"What?" I had no idea what he meant by that, but I guess I should take it as a compliment.
"Look, Sarah-" I interrupted the ass hole, so he could get his facts straight before even speaking to me.
"Saylor."
"Whatever." His comment earned a rude roll of the eyes from me. "Anyways... Luke is picky about his girls, and he is in no way picky about you. Trust me."
"I met Luke today. There's nothing going on, and I don't know why everyone is assuming that I'm dating Luke when I don't even know his last name. Hell, I can't even tell you what part of the country we're in." Ashton laughed at me, clearly finding my panic humorous.
"Calm down, Davis."
"How do you know my last name?" He smiled at me and started to walk away.
He turned his head over his shoulder, still walking, slowing down the slightest bit, and said, "I know everything about everybody here, Davis." Ashton winked before turning around to walk away again.
"Wait! You said that must be why Luke wants me, and um, what is 'that' supposed to be exactly?"
He leaned into me and whispered in my ear.
"Your innocence."
