The princess looks at her family members as they walk into the dining hall and to their seats. They sit down and the food comes out. The servants place the plates in front of each family member before heading back in the kitchen so the family can speak. "Have you gotten your power today?" Her father asked the youngest princess. "No father." She whispers. "Speak up" He says strictly. "Sit up straight, Head up, you're a princess, act like it" Her mother said annoyed. "Yes Mother, and No father...I have not gotten my powers yet" She says doing as her parents said. "Very well. You will stay inside and continue your lessons with Johnathan, Understand?" The king says "yes father" She responds. "Shadow, Midnight and Jasper, you 3 will join me outside and show me what you have learned." He says "Yes father" They say before everyone goes back to each eating.
After breakfast everyone goes to where they need to be. The princesses siblings went outside with the king. The queen goes to her office to do some paperwork. The youngest princess stays at the table waiting for Johnathan to arrive for her next lesson. She really wants to go outside and watch her siblings practice but she knew her father would be upset with her. The young princess lays her head on the table thinking about what it would be like to have magic and be able to go outside to practice instead of being inside. The child gets up after a few minutes and heads to the door. "Princess" The guard from last night said while leaning against the wall next to the dining room doors. The young princess looks over "Hm?" she hums and looks at him with an innocent look "you know you aren't allowed outside yet" He frowns and kneels in front of her "B-But it's boring in here....I want to have fun outside Cory" She frowns and looks down. "I know cutie, but there is a lot of things to do here" He smiles and stands up. He takes her hand and walks with her to the ballroom.
Once at the ball room, Cory starts playing some music before bowing at the princess slightly like how a prince would do. The princess giggles and curtsies back at him. "May I have this dance your highness." She smiles and nods "you may" He smiles and takes her hand before spinning her and moves a bit to represent a dance she could easily follow. She giggles as they dance a while.
As the princess and the guard dance they didn't notice that Johnathan as watching them with his arms crossed. Johnathan cleared his throat causing the two to freeze and look at him quickly. Johnathan walks up to Cory with his arms crossed "Shouldn't you be patrolling the castle? Or helping the servants?" Johnathan says rudely "now go" Cory frowns and looks at the princess "Bye princess" He says before walking out of the ballroom. The princess frowns and looks down. Johnathan looks at the princess and smiles a bit "lets get to work, stand up straight with your head up and looking forward, we are going to practice the walk and curtsy again" He says and stands next to her. The princess does as told before walking forward a bit, her head up and her back straight, her hands rested on her stomach like she was taught a few weeks ago.
Johnathan watches and frowns a bit. "you need to keep your head straight, don't look down at your feet and pay attention to the things around you" He says. The princess looks up as he said that and continues walking as she was before but making sure not to look down. "Good, now the curtsy" He says and walks in front of her. He shows her the proper way to curtsy before telling her to try. She tries and does it perfectly. He tells her to practice walking for a while longer before moving on to something different.
