"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10......1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10" A young girl counted out loud as she walked along the wall, down the hall to her room. She looked as if was about 3 years old. She had brown hair with green eyes, she was wearing a red dress without any shoes since she took them off. She holds onto the wall as she walks, stumbling at times bit. After a few more steps she trips and falls onto her knees. She frowns a bit and gets back up not realizing there was someone there watching her.
She continues to walk along the wall until she notices the person following her. She turns around and looks at the stranger. She sees a young boy, around 15 years old standing there. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He looked at her with a nervous smile "hello princess" He says hoping she isn't like the other princess who told on him for talking to her.
"Hewwo" She says before sitting down looking up at him. He sits in front of her and smiles more comfortable around the small 3 year old. "I'm Cory" She smiles "I S-scawet" She tries to say her name but says it wrong. "Hello, Princess Scarlett" He says correctly since everyone in the palace knew the name of all the royals. After sitting a while, Cory stands up and helps the young princess up. "Want to go to the ballroom and have some fun?" He asked her while looking down at her. She nods and holds his hand before they both start walking to the ballroom.
Once at the ballroom, Cory puts on some music before holding both of the princess's hands. He moves slowly so she can follow his steps as a small dance, but not hard enough that the young princess would get frustrated when trying to follow. The small child giggles following his steps, but being the hyper child she is starts adding her own steps, which were just a bit of stomping and jumping. Cory chuckles and spins her slowly so she doesn't fall. They continue this for a while before the princess yawned, signaling that she was starting to get tired.
Cory smiles and picks up the small child, turns off the music then head to the princess's room. As he was walking, Scarlett ended up falling asleep snuggled into his chest. When he gets to her room, he walks over to the bed, lays her down and tucks her in. He closes the window curtains after placing a necklace on the nightstand next to the bed. He walks out the room and heads down to his room. He climbs into his bed in the room that he shared with his older brother before drifting off to sleep thinking about dancing and becoming friends with the youngest princess.
