While having the flashback of when the princess met Cory, Johnathan was explaining the next lesson, which,she did not catch at all. "Are you ready to try?" Johnathan asked while looking at her "Y-yes." She says a bit unsure. Johnathan nods and starts the music before bowing slightly in front of the princess, just like how a prince would do at a ball. The princess does the curtsy and looks at Johnathan who was holding out a hand to her. She takes his hand a bit nervous since she doesn't know what she's supposed to be learning.
Johnathan nods before takes a step back to start the traditional dance that will happen at the ball. The young princess follows his lead but not liking how the dance was at all, since she was still a kid and the dance was for teens and older. So her being the 6 year old she is, started adding her own moves. Johnathan frowns and stops. "Princess, you are supposed to be following my lead, not creating your own steps." He tells her in a strict voice. The princess nods and stops before they continue to practice.
About 2 hours have passed and Johnathan decides that they have done enough practicing for the day. He allows her to leave and do whatever she wants. The princess smiles and runs out the ballroom before running around the castle looking for Cory. She continues looking for him but after a while gets tired of running so she slows down into a walk.
She doesn't find him after looking for a few more minutes, so she heads to her room. Once in her room she grabs her coloring book and crayons, then sits down at her bay window to color. As she colors, she continues to look out the window to see if anything new has appeared over night that would catch her interested. As she was about to look down something catches her eye, near the castle gate was a rose, but not a normal rose. This rose was a dark purple color that had water droplets on it. The young princess continues to stare at the rose really wanting to have it. After a while of staring at the rose, her door opens and a certain guard walks in. "What are you staring at princess?" She hears Cory say. She looks over at him before waving him over.
He walks over and sits next to her. She point at the rose through her window smiling a bit. "look it the pretty purple flower" She says, her eyes sparkling as she stares. Cory chuckles and smiles. "its beautiful, Just like that dragon I met." She looks at him, "you met a dragon" She looks at him with a look that says 'please tell me'. He chuckles, "of course I did, what kind of Knight would I be if I didn't meet a dragon." He smiles. "can you tell me what happened?" He smiles and picks her up before laying her on the bed and laying next to her, before her starts the story.
