PREVIOUS NIGHT

Beca was sleeping next to Chloe. Her bangs covered part of her face. Her mouth was a bit open; drool dripping down her chin. She had her arm wrapped around Chloe's chest; her cheek rested upon her shoulder.

Chloe couldn't help but let a small smile form on her lips. She was so in love with this woman who was letting drool drip onto her shirt. Yet, she was upset. Beca never had told her about her family life.

Chloe told Beca everything from the time her parents left her at the football field when she was a five year old to time her brother bleached her hair when she was sleeping. She didn't understand to why Beca didn't tell her anything really. Something as small as having a sister.

The small end table lamp was on next to Chloe. Her glasses sat on the bridge of her nose as her eyes lingered on the younger woman. She bit her lip softly before returning her eyes to the laptop screen.

Amy had sent her a profile to a friend of Beca's sister. She was scrolling through the photos; trying to figure out if anyone else knew this girl and maybe knew her location.

"Chicago?" Chloe whispered to herself and clicked on his Facebook.

She scrolled through the photos and found him having his arm around some girl's waist. Chloe studied the girl seeing she looked a bit like Beca. Her teeth found her bottom lip; debating if it was Beca's sister. Chloe's eyes then just wandered to the comments.

'Looking good dude!'

'Who's this lovely lady? Could she be the one? Love, grandma'

'What bar is that? Looks sick!'

'Is that Dylan? Haven't seen her in years. Give her my love!'

Chloe figured it was Dylan at the last comment. So, she messaged Chicago wondering if he knew Beca's sister's where abouts.

"This might seem weird, but I'm searching for my wife's sister, Dylan. I saw you knew her and maybe you would have some information on her?" Chloe messaged.

Her and Chicago had gotten on good terms the last year's. He looked entirely different that if he did meet Chloe somewhere to give her information, Beca couldn't recognize him. Beca not recognizing him would be a blessing to Chloe. The brunette could not stand him which was understandable.

"We dated for a few months after you and I actually. I kinda have a clue where she is. Want me to drop you off some of her stuff that might lead you to her?" He messaged back.

"Yes! Thank you, so much. I'm at a hotel actually in Australia"

"I live in Australia! Haha! What a coincidence. Maybe you are meant to be the one to find her"

"That's awesome. I really hope I do. I'll send you the hotel information and meet you in the lobby tomorrow morning if that's okay?"

"Yeah! No problem!"

"Also can we keep this quiet? I want it to be a surprise and the media can ruin that"

"Totally. I won't say a word. See you tomorrow"

"Thank you!"

Beca sat across from Chloe at the restaurant. They had a view of the city as they were sat next to the window. The sun was rising up giving a gleaming glare into the room.

"So do we discuss last night?" Beca asked. "Or act as if nothing happened"

"Depends," Chloe said softly. She ripped open the sugar packet; pouring the sweet miniature crystals into the coffee. "Do we want this to be a nice breakfast or a crap one?"

"I see your point" Beca said and took a sip from her coffee.

She looked around the fairly quiet hotel restaurant. It had a few people scattered around. Some workers were on their phones being as it was pretty much empty.

"So are we just going to sit in silence while you look around?" Chloe asked with a sigh.

"Tell me who that guy was in the lobby," Beca flipped her head back around to look at her wife. "I recognized him"

"You did?" Chloe asked.

"Yeah," Beca mumbled. "Just can't put my finger on who it was.."

"He works with Design" Chloe lied smoothly. "I've been showing you their Instagram each day. You were bound to see him"

Chloe's heart pounded a bit harder as her words came out a bit more shaky. She hated lying to Beca. It drove her nuts to do so. But, she really didn't want to pile the 'It was Chicago' on top of everything else.

"Are you sure?" Beca asked.

"Why would I not be sure Beca?" Chloe asked.

"Well.." Beca said before taking a sip of her coffee. "Your face is turning a bit red, words are trembling, and I bet if I look under the table you are clenching your fist-"

"You just want to look under the table to have sex-"

"That was your idea-" Beca was smirking as Chloe cut her off quickly.

"One time Beca!" Chloe whisper yelled; her face becoming more red.

"Chloe, what's going on?" Beca asked.

"Nothing is going on-"

"It's obviously something!" Beca chuckled.

It fell silent as the waiter came up to take their order. She had blonde hair tied in a high pony tail. Her outfit was all black as she held the notepad in her right hand; pen in her left.

"Hi! My name is Alicia and I'm your waitress. Are you two ready to order?" She chirped with a bright smile.

Beca couldn't stand when people were this fucking happy in the morning. It drove her insane being she wasn't a morning person at all. Her hand was placed on her forehead as she let Chloe order first.

"Scrambled eggs with two blueberry waffles please" Chloe smiled.

"Alright, and for you?" Alicia turned to Beca.

"Just two chocolate chip pancakes-"

"Would you like anything else?" Alicia cut her off.

"No, thanks" Beca said and handed her the menu. Chloe followed suit with her menu.

"Alright, it'll be out shortly!" Alicia said and slipped away.

"Fucking happy people" Beca muttered.

"Awe, there's my dark cloud" Chloe smiled.

"Anyway, tell me what's going on" Beca went right back to the argument.

"Oh my god Bec-"

"Just tell me!" Beca said.

Chloe took a deep breath and placed her elbows on the table. Her head fell into her hands as she tried to word this correctly. She wanted to hide this from Beca as much as she could, but just couldn't.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a sister?" Chloe asked.
