~Austin's pov~

After reaching home, Annabeth and me decided to whip up some dinner together. Little did I know how professional she was. Just by the way she sautéed the vegetables and dipped the bread in a special sauce and tossing it in the oven, she looked like a brilliant chef.

"Never thought you could cook," I teased her as I leaned by the countertop, swallowing the cold wine.

She let out a soft chuckle. "My mum loves cooking," she grinned as she reminisce the memory.

We ate dinner quietly. I don't know why but she seems awfully quiet.

"Hey you okay?" I asked, my face laced with seriousness. She got shocked so she basically jerked, causing her to spit back the food.

"What the hell?" I heard her mutter.

She immediately compose herself, and let out a small smile.

"Nah, just thinking about a conversation,''.

She looked so uneasy, thats it, she's got to spill everything out. Now.

I put down the fork and stared at her. Her eyes started to twitch.

"I twitch whenever I get nervous," I remember her saying that to me when we used to talk before presentations. Good thing that Im now her boyfriend so I know some things about her.

"Your eyes are twitching," I whispered as silence filled in the room.

"W-what? Listen here, its nothing, Im just thinking about some presentation shit, is that wrong?" She scrambled as she covered her face.

"Bullshit," I snarled as I slammed my hand on the table, causing it to shake a little. Shit. She look scared. "The last time I knew, you're never this nervous when you come to this shit and stuff,"

"Austin!" She sat there startled. Probably because she's running out of her damn ideas.

"Look here, I don't wanna fight okay, baby," I stood up as I approached to her seat. She was frozen, her eyes widen in shock at my sudden outburst.

"I just don't like you keeping secrets with me okay," I whispered in her ear and hugged her. She tried to wriggle out of my arms in anger.

"Just stop fighting and tell me what's bothering you," I pleaded and she stopped fighting.

"Fine," she whispered and we stood face to face. "Tell me the truth,"

"Okay, what?"

"You. Before you met me. How was your life?" She half shouted.

"Babe, calm down okay? My life was normal, like a normal boy-"

"I don't want stupid plain answers, Austin," she let out a small laugh as she raise her hand to stop me.

"I was trying to say, how was your relationship life?" She smirked.

This is it. She's getting me to spill everything . I shouldn't have hid the truth. I should have known.

~Annabeth's pov~

My chicken stew never taste as good as it looks. I glanced at Austin. He was enjoying his meal. My appetite disappeared all of a sudden.

Those stupid words. Ignore them.

What's with me and talking to myself??

I don't know what the hell is wrong with me but Brandon's words were repeating in my mind.

"Relax, Anna. Its just that... Austin used to have so many girls up in his sleeves..."

Damn you, Brandon. Screw the fuck up.

I had to do this. Its been three months already that we're official and I'm sure as hell the whole school knows about us. Well thats amazing but there's a topic that I realize, Austin and me never talked about it before.

Relationships. Stupid things. Sigh.

I chew on my bread, trying to compose myself. Relax, Anna, theres nothing to be nervous about. Relax. Breath in..out...1...2...3....

Shit.

My eyes started twitching. Why isn't the world on my side today? I just had to screw things up. I caught Austin staring and me and he slowly lower his forks and stared at me.

"Your eyes are twitching," he whispered, as he stared into my eyes, his lips turning into a frown. His captivating eyes roamed all over my face, his glances giving me the fear and chills, all mixed into one.

Oh god, come on, cover up.

"W-what? Listen here, its nothing, Im just thinking about some presentation shit, is that wrong?" I just had to burst out and I ended up scrambling. I suck at making lies. True enough.

"Bullshit," he roared as he slammed his palm onto the table. I jerked, hitting my leg on the chair, creating a massive pain. Shit, this doesn't look so good. He started mentioning about my nervousness as everything just got messed up. That's it, tonight is gonna be a long night.

And looks like the drama has just begun.
