The broken heart girl

Maya house.

I wake up to the New York traffic and the sound of the tv. I get up and put my mess blonde hair into a bun. I look in the mirror and paramore started to play on the tv.

I walk into the living room of the apartment to see cereal on the ground. I pick it up to see a note on the ground. It read "morning, maya I had to work go to work earlier and won't get off until 3 in the morning".

I rolled my eyes cause this is what she usually doesn't, she doesn't make anytime for me. I turn the tv to ion channel and I started to watch cold case while eating lucky charms.

I quickly get a knock on the door. I open it to see my moms boyfriend David. He gives me a bad feeling. He was about 6 feet with a jet back hair that fit into a ponytail. He smiles at me and said "maya, where you mother". I give him a look and said "where she always is".

He gave me a nodes and then said "you look hotter with you hair in a bun". I froze as he said that. He chuckled and said "your exactly like your mother he said as he touches my chin. He gives me the freaking creeps. I quickly close the door and lock it.

I make sure he leaves so I can feel safe again. I quickly take a shower and I remember what he just said to me so I quickly remove my hair to make my curls fall.

I wrapped a towel around my body and walk into my room. The only bathroom we have is in the hall way. I put on just regular bob marley t-shirt with regular jeans and walk into the sub to meet Riley. She was wearing a blue dress that came to her knees and her hair was in a bun.

I smile at her and said "hey riles". She chuckled as we hugged and walk on the subway. We walked into English with ms. Makissit. Ms.makissit is a 40 year old lady who got into teaching for the romance novels. She had brown hair and was really talk with accent when she talked about anything.

We walked in to hear her say "Rileyand maya why are you late". I then quickly said "well, you see ms.k, me. Matthew wanted us to help him with something". She pushed up her glass and said "I need a note". I quickly took it out my back pocket and said "here, you go ms.lickit.

She looked annoyed and said "maya, my name is ms.makisit, not ms.k or ms.A or ms.lickit. I gave her a nodded and then got tap on the shoulder.
