My hair was almost pinned up right for tonight's Anima Luna Dance

My hair was almost pinned up right for tonight's Anima Luna Dance. As I looked on at myself in the mirror, I found snow white hair curled in layers and wound on top of my head. A few curls were set free on account of making my hair style look gorgeous. I plucked a few diamonds from my collection and presented my ears some sparkle for the night. With a few more fixes of my makeup, I'm finally satisfied with the finishing product.

Smoothing down the lace trimming, I mess with the flow of the dress as I twist and turn. The lace sleeves extend to my elbows as the skirt descends to my knees. The dress was a brilliant light blue that helped my eyes pop. Walking in the heels was a disaster, so I opted out for a pair of white flats to fit with my white handbag. I observed myself once more before striking up the courage to head on out.

The boys—Trance, Eliphas, and Prospero—should be in the clearing I helped set up yesterday. All I had to do was walk next door so Jadis, Evanora, and I can head over to the clearing for the dancing and the mingling. Since the wolves only arrived this morning, we've decided to skip the luncheon and start with the Anima Luna Dance instead. The wolves seemed fine with the whole ordeal, so we were initially alright with how things turned out anyway.

It seemed to be pretty peaceful from both sides, but I was still skeptical of the wolves and if they might try anything. I could only hope the rest of the week was going to be alright, with all the games and tests there are going around.

With a sigh, I smile to myself in the mirror and head towards Evanora's cottage. I recite a quick spell, alerting Evanora I'm on my way. I knocked twice on the wooden door when I reached it. After a few seconds, Evanora opened up and then the two of them come out all Faeried. Evanora wears a long, black dress, which enhances her flames a bit more. Her hair was down for the night, as was Jadis' red locks. She wore a knee-length scarlet dress, matching her infamous red locks. While Jadis wore heels, Evanora wore wedges.

Once the three of us were ready to go for the night, we began towards the clearing where there was music playing. Many other female Wickens are forced to display their single life in a jar for these wolves, and I knew every Wicken hated it. I absolutely disliked the fact we had to parade ourselves around until we found a male suitable enough for us. We might as well go to an auction.

We arrived to the clearing, and I spot many different males of all different shapes and colors, just as Wickens were. It was when we stopped to listen to our Elder Roake speak that I saw the wolves. Many of them were very emotionless or reserved, but from what I saw, a great deal of them conversed with themselves rather than any of the male Wickens. I'm sure each creature was happy for it, but it made a severe divide between our species.

With a cough, my attention is directed to the stage as I notice Elder Roake deliver his speech. "Ladies and gentleman," he spoke softly before clearing his throat. "I would personally like to thank everyone for coming to tonight's Anima Luna Dance. We hope you may enjoy tonight and the food we have prepared. In honor of the Lycans and the Weres, we have prepared a very hearty feast, so please, dig in and have a wonderful time. May the Anima Luna be gracious of you all." He raises a hand, calling to the night. All Wickens do the same, smiling before the actual dance begins.
