Apparently, a Wicken was not allowed to be armed or carry any type of weapon, including the wand of a Wicken's magic, as long as they were in the arena. Also, they were only allowed to see their partner, and my partner was the only one to bring clothes, food, or any nessesities that I may need. They, as in the Elders, force the Wicken in the time of their Reckoning to temporarily exterminate all relations with all social communications, yet the only exception is to be the Wicken's partner.
As of now, Elder Madea has caged me in one of the finer Reckoning vicinities. It's cream walls are boring to stare at and hard to take my eyes from. The plush pillows are gorgeous, but I'm too afraid I might dent the sight if I dare to touch it. I sat on the bed with my legs crisscross, flipping through this device from the Planet Realm. It was wide, but flat and hung against the wall opposing the bed. This small wand I held in my hand had embedded buttons to push, controlling the bigger device on the wall.
As I pressed each button, the image on the flat device would change. It was abnormal at first until I learned the functions of the "remote," as the guard had said before ignoring me again. I sighed, not liking any choices on the device. I threw the remote towards the pillows and jump from the dent in the bed.
I grew curious, so I walk to a different door. Not many items crowded the closet, but there was a battle suit and talium boots. Grabbing a shoe, I inspect it from top to bottom. They were fresh out of the shop! The metal on the outside was made of cast iron, bewitched white. The boot seemed to have many layers at it's sole.
My hand turns the boot upside down and my fingers feel the magic sprinkled about. The texture was smooth, but light as I stroked the inside of the shoe. Soft padding for the inside contrasts against the sold steel exterior. I was content with the inside, loving the soft and cloudy feeling. This talium shoe must have went for the most valuable of potions. My heart warms at the length Trance went to prepare me with these boots.
Suddenly, the door is moves open and in comes Trance. My attention is removed from the fascinating boot delicately placed in my hands as Trance's eyes find mine right away. He looks handsome as ever, tossing his mauve hair to the side. He's dressed in jeans and a polo, the black matching his dark appearance. He doesn't immediately walk to me, but he watches me with the boot. Trance smiles gently before moving towards the closet. He picks up the other boot, barely glancing at the item before turning to me with bright eyes.
Trance continues to smile, holding the left boot out to me. Curious, I hesitate to take it. "Do you like them?"
My eyes trace over the iron exterior of the glorious footwear. They were beautiful and brilliant in design, matching with my wand. I couldn't ask for any more comfort.
