Gabe sighed and dropped his pen loudly, pulling his hair with his hand before looking up to realize that his staff were all staring at him. He then remembered that they were having a meeting and a staff was giving a presentation when he zoned off
He sat up and cleared his throat; 'steve i like the concept you are presenting but it looks so monotonous and boring try adding things that wont make the viewers bored ok?'

'let's continue this meeting later on, have a nice day gentlemen and ladies
He went to his office and his best friend followed him in

'man what's on your mind? You were gazing at the wall for so long what's wrong?'
Gabe explained it all to him and Chris stared at him like he had suddenly developed 2 heads

'dude since i began to deal with women, from your story i can see
you made 3 big mistakes
1. You dont side either of the women who are involved in a fight
2. Dude how can you insult your wife when a third party is there that's so wrong
3. Next time listen to her side if the story and always apologize when you are wrong, throw away that silly pride it wont help

'i dont even know why am worried about her opinion of me'
Chris hid his smile before saying in his mind his heart is becoming softened am so happy for him'

How is it that I am beginning to care for her it's not possible women are all the same, but Chris was right I shouldn't have chosen to side with her without listening to my wife's side first
Well I will just try to make things right u guess it shouldn't hurt much it's not that I like her or something.

Tricia's pov
It's been 2 days after the incident at Gabe's parents house and I have been ignoring him since then not like he has even tried to approach me or something. I came back from work and went straight to my room but came down when Mrs Tiffany called her for dinner. She dressed in a shirt with nothing else except for her panties since she was going to dine alone and she needed comfort.
She got downstairs and went to the dining room only to be shocked to see her husband already sorted at the table, she couldn't stop herself from asking
'what are you doing here?'
'I live here' he said giving her a look that said really are you serious right now

I know that I mean you don't usually come home at this time that's all'

Is there a reason why i shouldn't be home at this time's he asked suspiciously

Not of course not its just surprising that you are here that's all' she said sat down quietly and started eating till she heard him mumble something

I said am sorry, am sorry I yelled at you and took sides with my sister without really knowing what was wrong am really sorry

He gave a nod finished his meal, stood up and left
Tricia sighed as she watched him leave just what can I do to break this impenetrable wall you built around yourself, I think I need to find out what happened to you
With that determination she stood up, washed her plate and left. She then decided to call his best friend Chris maybe he will be willing to open up to her

Hello good afternoon Chris this is Tricia, Gabe's wife'

By 5pm the next day Tricia was dressed and ready to go she then left for the restaurant in her SUV.
On getting there she realized he was already waiting for her
She slid into the chair opposite him and looked up before saying
'sorry for keeping you waiting'

She scrunched her nose at him and said 'meaning????

That you guys are always late'

That's so not true I in person dislike lateness I.....' she stopped when she saw he was teasing her and glared at him

Sure' they called the waiter and placed their order

She cleared her throat before continuing
I just wanted to ask you about Gabe, I know you have known him for quite a while now so I want to ask can you please tell me what happened to make him this cold hearted.
Chris smiled before talking
Tricia I know you are a good lady and will make my friend happy if he will throw away all his bottled up resentment but I am sorry but it's not my place to tell you what happened to him am really sorry

All I can say is that he was badly betrayed by a lady that he loved with all his heart hence he decided that all ladies are like that and has refused to have anything to do with them until you came along

They chatted and joked with each other before they went their separate ways
