After dinner with Chris since it was still early and I knew that Gabe won't be home I decided to go drive around and ended up at my favorite spot an open field where I usually come to when I am having a myriad of emotions that am battling with. I stayed till it was 10pm before going home

On arriving home I got in only to be jump at the angry voice OMG My husband
Where have you been'

Out, I went out'
He narrowed his eyes impatiently before saying 'of course I know you went out but where?'
'to see a friend is something wrong'
I never saw you as an inconsiderate person don't make me believe you are one'

How could you just go for hours without contacting anyone I was scared'

Am sorry my phone ran out of battery am so sorry' I said before running off with tears in her eyes

Gabe's pov
I came back early from work only to be discover that my wife wasn't at home, I asked the house help who said she had gone put since 5 I began to get suspicious but tried reassuring myself that she wasn't that kind of person when it became 8pm I tried her number but it didn't go through, then the doubts increased and when she came in around five minutes to eleven I was boiling with anger. I ended up lashing out and she ran away with tears in her eyes
I refused to apologize but went to my own room.

2 weeks later things were still sour between us, I was staring into the wall in my office while Chris who has just returned from a trip kept on going on and on about events In his life I wasn't paying attention until he mentioned my wife's name
I immediately gave him my rapt attention without making myself look curious

We met in a restaurant and she asked about you ......'

When did this happen?

That was the day before I traveled, I actually gained a sister that day she is such a good lady hope you treat her right

Funny how I have done the exact opposite why do I always misinterpret things

Gabe what's wrong?
He then explained to him

Gabe what are you doing to your marriage?

Look I get it you were hurt by the lady that left but she is not that lady, I can assure you from the little interaction we have had she is different and seems to be genuinely concerned about you, so please stop hurting her or you might end up breaking her in a way you won't like' Chris said and left angry

Gabe sat down and thought of all Chris said 'he decided to make her feel comfortable with him but NEVER fall in love with her that's so out of it
He arrived home to meet Tricia on her way for a walk with their dog, immediately she saw him she mumbled her greeting and made to walk away

Tricia can we talk?'

Now can't it wait till I get back?

Am very sorry for yelling at you the other day, I just want to apologize for it am really sorry?

Really cause that day you were going on and on like a wounded lion not considering my feelings or anything wait!  What am I even saying you don't even consider my feelings at all you just keep on ignoring me and hurting me and sincerely it's beginning to get frustrating I never asked for this and neither did you but don't you think we should just try to cohabit peacefully?'

As Tricia went on the walk she began to think on her life and the more she thought on it the more angry she became
Imagine the nerve of him thinking saying sorry will settle it all

Gabe's pov
She really stunned him with that talk but in a way she was right, it was neither of them fault that they were in this marriage and the earlier they learn to live together peacefully the better for them and they also needed to learn how to communicate better
He had a lot to do to earn her forgiveness, seeing she was so mad at him
He then decided to make breakfast for her hopefully she would accept it as his peace offering. He made pancakes and waited for her to return, soon he heard the slamming of the door and someone mumbling angrily and he knew she had returned
Just has she was about to pass the dining room he cleared his throat ,but she ignored him, he cleared it again and she still didn't answer until he called her name 'Tricia ' 'what do you want'
Can you please come and sit I made breakfast and after which we can talk'
About what see I don't want an headache so just spare me from whatever you want to say'
Please I just spare me some few minutes'
Fine!' she said and went to the dining table
Am listening' 'first have breakfast then we will talk'

OK' she took it from him ate then drank her milk before she then looked up at him expectantly
He cleared his throat before saying
Once again Tricia I apologize you are right it's not your fault that all this happened and you are also right that I have not being considering your feelings but can we reschedule a compromise and see if it will work out between us please,

Good cause there are a few things i would like to add to this compromise thing
1. I need u to respect me
2. Treat me like ur precious wife in public and not your maid
3. Don't ever ever be rude to me again, or so help me God
That's all I can think of now, but let me add. Look i have no idea what made you this way but i feel you shouldn't just group everyone under the category as the one of the person who hurt you, whether you like it or not we are married and i suggest you deal with it
Oh and I almost forgot.  Pls pls and pls if u want to have a mistress keep it as discreet as possible i dont ......
