Interrogation

Lance's POV

What happened to me? I dont know where i am. I cant go underwater, its too shallow. I look down to see that someone had put bandages on my tail. I felt them on my head too. I looked around the strange place, it was mostly white. It was above water so i assumed i was in a human's home. As i kept looking i noticed a human asleep on something i think was called a sink? He had a black mullet and wore a red white and yellow jacket, even though it was summertime and rather hot outside. He looked peaceful. He was strong, his arms were very muscular. He was really really hot. I heard footsteps from outside the door. I pretended to be asleep. Another man walked in, he had a shiny metal arm and a white tuft of hair. He spoke to the sleeping man. "Keith, buddy wake up. Theres food downstairs, and you're doing a shitty job of watching this guy." He said. The sleeping one's name is Keith. "Huh? Oh, Shiro." He looked at me. "No I'll keep watching him. I'll stay awake this time, i promise" he said. The one with the metal arm is Shiro. He was very muscular as well. "Alright fine. I'm ordering pizza later, so dont just use this guy as an excuse to ignore me and Pidge." Said Shiro. There was a third named Pidge. What an odd name. "Yeah whatever" Keith said, and Shiro left, closing the door behind him. Keith pullet a small black rectangle out of his pocket, and stared at it for a while. I think what he was using was called a "phone", and they were supposedly very popular among humans. I slowly sat up, trying to be quiet. I sat staring for a while before he looked up from his phone. We made eye contact for a few seconds. "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE AWAKE" He said. He was startled, i backed up and stayed silent in my corner of the bathtub. He stared at me again. His eyes were a deep purple, they were beautiful. "Who are you....?" I looked down, unsure of what to do. I couls speak Altean, which he would have no way of understanding, i could not speak at all, or i could just speak english. I decided to just speak english, i wanted to get to know Keith better. "...My name is Lance..." He looked surprised. "Ah, so you can speak" I nodded. "So... You're a merman? Where are you from"
"Theres a kingdom called Altea. Off the coast of Cuba. I lived there. It was taken over by the Galra empire."
"Galra?"
"Yes, they are purple skinned merfolk, their kingdom was polluted and the pollution drove them out, so they started taking over other kingdoms to make up for it." 
"Oh. How did you get hurt?"
"I was looking for food in a sea cave and it collapsed. I got knocked out."
"Are you ok? Dizzy? Do you have a headache?" He reached out to touch my head and i flinched away from him. "Oh- sorry, I won't touch you again." 
"Its ok."
"Are.. You hungry? What do merpeople eat anyway?"
He kept asking questions. He was a very curious person. He asked about my friends, Altea, the Galra, He asked about my family and my hobbies, my health, it was like a police interrogation.
"Are you ok in the bathtub? Do you need to go somewhere else? We have a pool outside you can swim around in." I hesitated before answering. "Yeah... A pool sounds nice"
"Alright, im gonna have to carry you there. Is that ok?"
"Um.. Yes. Thats fine"
He took off his jacket and reached over to me, lifting me out of ths bathtub and into his arms. I put my arms around his neck for security. He carried me down the stairs and out of the house, the other two of his human friends were sitting together, talking. The one i assumed was Pidge was talking to the one called Shiro. She turned around, eyes wide. "Keith!! What the hell are you doing with that thing?!?" 
"He is not a thing. And his name is Lance."
