"Subarashī!" I cheered.
"Yeah, so, when do you wanna meet?" (Y/N) asked.
"You have school, right? So how about Saturday? We can have lunch somewhere and then go over to our place."
"Sounds good to me!"

"Uh, how about you text me your address and I'll fetch you?"

Ok, now I gotta plan this date. I got 3 days to plan.
I chuckled at my thought.
We just met! This is too fast.
Well, anyways it's still just gonna be the two of us out for lunch. I don't wanna bring the guys.
I walked out of my room and went to Murdoc's room to see Russel and 2D looking at him.
"Anything new?" I asked.
"He isn't waking up, but there's still a pulse." Russel answered.
"'E's in a coma! A'right!" 2D jumped. "Now about the girl from the diner. Noodz. Can yew haff 'er ova tew show us her bass playin'?"
"Wow, you're pretty cheerful, Toochee!" I laughed. "And yeah, (Y/N) is gonna be here on Saturday to play. I'm gonna fetch her from her place and we'll have lunch somewhere. Both of us will be here by about 12:30."
A grin formed on 2D's face.
"Great!" 2D cheered. "I can't wait tew see 'er!"
"Why are you so excited about seeing her?" Russel said, raising an eyebrow.
"I-uh, new frend y'know?" 2D replied, twiddling his thumbs.
Oh no. Don't tell me-
"You like (Y/N), don't you?" Russel chuckled.
"Err..Kinda..Maybe...." 2D mumbled under his breath.
Unko.
"2D, she's young and you're old. Hate to break it to you but-no." Russel said.
"I kno' I jus'. I dunno. I mean, age is jus' a numba, rite?" 2D chuckled.
"Well, yeah." Russel replied.
"Then maybe I haff a chance." 2D grinned. "Wot dew yew fink, Noodz?"
I snapped out of the running thoughts in my head as soon as 2D said my name.
"I dunno." I shrugged.
"You ok?" 2D asked, walking towards me.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine. I'll be in my room." I said, making my way out of Murdoc's room.

"I understand why you lied to me, (Y/N). I would've screamed at you with joy if you actually told me it was Noodle from Gorillaz!" Mom explained. "I knew that name sounded so familiar!"
"I can't believe that band is still out there. I thought they split up." Dad said.
"Yeah, well, they're back together with a new album." I smiled, showing my parents the copy I purchased a while back.
"Let's give it a listen!" Dad said cheerfully as he took the album from me.
...
Man, their music sounds a lot different than before.
"They've sure changed!" Mom commented.
I'll have to admit, I like my parents only when it comes to Gorillaz.
My dad stood up and started to groove to the music. Mom and I laughed at his ridiculous grandma dance.
"I really can't believe you made friends with Noodle." Mom smiled. "Sometimes you're just full of surprises."
"Yeah. I can't believe it either." I smiled back. "By the way, Noodle asked if I could go to her place on Saturday. Can I?"
"Suresicles!" Mom said, patting my back. "Man, I can't believe my girl is gonna hang out with the one and only Gorillaz!"

Today is the day!
I wore an oversized hoodie and jeans since it was pretty cloudy today.
As I was putting on my socks the doorbell rang.
Oh, she's here!
"(Y/N)! Noodle's at the door!" Mom shouted from downstairs.
"Alright, coming!" I replied.
Before I went to the door, I felt a strong grip on my shoulder.
"Yeah, dad?" I asked, turning my back to face him.
"There are rumours she's lesbian. Be careful with her." he said softly so that Noodle wouldn't hear him.
I sighed and brushed my dad's hand off my shoulder and walked out.
"Hey, Noodle!" I greeted with a smile.
"Hi!" she smiled back. "Was that your mother at the door?"
"Yeah." I frowned.
"Is everything ok?" Noodle asked, putting her hand on my shoulder.
I looked over to my back to see Fauna and Keith glaring at me and Noodle.
"Yeah, I'm good. Let's go. Now." I said, pulling Noodle away from the front of my house.
Creepy twins.
"So where to?" I asked.
"There's this authentic Japanese restaurant somewhere here. Don't worry I know the way." Noodle smiled.
I didn't say anything but smile. Her smile is contagious.
