Taehyung's P.O.V.

"What do you think they're asking Y/n?" I ask Jungkook. We sat on a bench not too far from the police station as we wait for Y/n to come out. Hopefully.

Jungkook looks up from his phone and stares at me for a moment. He shrugs his shoulders and looks back down to his phone, playing a game.

"Hmm..." I purse my lips together and cross my arms while staring deep into the forest across the street. It's really dark.

What's taking so long? Does it take this long? Is Y/n coming out of there? Are they going to take her somewhere?

A kit jumps out of a bush. A kit. From the forest.

"Jungkook-ah, can we go over there?!" I point over at the tiny animal. Jungkook looks up from his phone and his eyes follow where my hand is pointing at. He saw the kit and began to stroke his chin.

I get up thinking, he's not coming, so I'll go by myself.

"Wait! I'm coming with you."

There seems to be no cars coming, but just to be safe, I'll run across. Wait, that might scare the kit away. So I guess I'll have to walk across? There are no cars anyway.

We start to walk together across the street, hand in hand. Just making sure Jungkook's safe, you know. We're almost halfway across, keeping eye on the small creature. That's when I heard it. A truck coming towards this way. Crap.

Jungkook let go of me and ran while I speed walk, I don't want to scare it away.

"Hurry up, Taehyung!" Jungkook made it to the other side and the kit ran away. What's the whole point of going on now? I sigh and run the rest as the truck eventually passes by. I look into the forest and see nothing but darkness. Oh, it's a good place for... nevermind, the police are very close by.

"We should go back now." Jungkook stated, I ignored him as I heard something rustling in the bushes. It might the kit... or a bear. "I'm going in, so... if I die, make sure to tell Y/n that you're the one who threw the coconut at her. Bye!" Before Jungkook says in anything, I jump into the forest.

I turn on my flashlight and walk ahead. After a minute or two of walking, I see a fox staring right at me. I look beside it and see the kit. Oh. Well, I should head back before the fox tries to kill me.

I step back and step onto a branch, the fox lunges at me. I turn around and try to outrun the creature. I see Jungkook appear out of nowhere as he runs past me and I hear a small squeak.

I turn my head back in curiosity and saw the fox lying on the ground, Jungkook staring at it. Do I want to know what happened?

Yeah sure.

"Let's head ba-" Before Jungkook could say anything more, the kit I saw earlier, attacked him. I walk over to Jungkook and pull the kit off of him resulting in losing a piece of cloth from his shirt. The small animal bit me and I drop it to the ground.

"LET'S GO!" We run before it could do anything else to us. Then, a really low growl can be heard close by.

"OH SHIT! Was that a bear?!"

We make it to the road and I check if there are any cars passing by before running across while pulling Jungkook's arm. We made it to the opposite side of the road, away from that forest, with my heart racing.

"I should've listened to my instincts." Jungkook rubbed off anything dirty from himself and tried to look pleasing.

"But then you wouldn't have saved me." I remark, paying no mind to him at this point. I look to over at the police station and see Y/n walking out.

Third Person's P.O.V.

Taehyung runs over to Y/n and Jungkook stops complaining before running over to her too.

"Y/n, what did they say or ask?" Jungkook questions when he's in front of her. Y/n crosses her arms and looks down at the road.

"They just asked me about Minseok and my family..." Y/n stops for a second and then continues.

"When I was about to leave, I heard them say they found a suspect- no, they meant to say that they found the psychopath who murdered Baekhyun. I just knew that they were trying to hide this from me. That officer even hesitated." Jungkook and Taehyung make eye contact with eachother, then back at Y/n.

"You didn't ask who exactly the murderer was?" Taehyung looks at Jungkook dead in the eye. Y/n shakes her head as she keeps her eyes glued to the ground. 

"Don't worry, we're here to protect you, in replacement for your late brother." Jungkook says as he stroked Y/n's cheek before getting closer for a hug, but before he could, Y/n gets out of the way.

"Uh, sorry. I don't want to see anyone at the moment. I'll walk myself home."

Jungkook was left in shock as Taehyung shows hurt.

"Kim Taehyung lives here, right?" The guy sitting on the passenger seat nods his head.

"Then this is the right address..." The officer muttered under his breath.

The police arrive and knock hard on the door. Really hard, I'm not even lying.
