Chapter 28

Aaron’s P.O.V 

I run my hands through my hair. This can’t be real. No it can’t. I look up from the ambulance floor, and see Simone in cramps. She is shaking so bad, and the doctors is trying to make her calm, but no matter what they try, it doesn’t work. I have no idea what is happening. I’m not a doctor. I look at on of the doctors in the ambulance and i can feel the tears in my eyes. “Is she gonna make it?” I stutter, and look at my hands. They are shaking and so are my knees. I can’t loose her, she is the one. “Aaron, we’re trying. We will do anything to save her.. But i think if you would take her hand, and hold it. Maybe that could help with the panic attack she is also having..” He say. I stand up, trying not to cry.. I have to be strong. Strong for my princess. “Okay” I say, and sit down on my knees, and take her hand. “When are we at the hospital?” 

“2 minutes” One of the doctors answer fast, and continue to give her medicine. She wide her eyes, and take her to the throat. She can’t breath. Her grab around my hand tighten. It almost hurt. “She can’t breathe!” I yell, and the second doctor gives her a mask on, which is supposed to help her breathing. She relax in her hand again, and i squeeze it. I can see the hospital, so i stand up. “You’re gonna be alright princess. We’re strong together” I whisper, tears sliding down my cheeks. I lean down to her, and kiss her on the forehead. “Be strong love” Is the last words i say to her, before they carry her away from me, and into a room where i can’t see her. My knees get weak, and i slide down against the wall. I hug my knees tight and put my head between my knees. And the tears starts to fall. I close my eyes, and wait for the doctors to tell my something. 

I wait for about 48 minutes, and finally the same doctor as in the ambulance comes out from the room she is in. 

I get up from the ground and run to him. “How is she?! Can i see her?” I say, and he looks down at the floor.. No way. “Aaron we’re so sorry..” He say, and i close my eyes. No this ain’t happening. No…. “She didn’t make it.. Her lungs collapsed.” He say, and everything in me falls apart. It fells like someone ripped my heart out, and stabbed me several times in the chest. I fall to the ground on my knees. Screaming at the top of my lungs. 

“Aaron! Aaron! Wake up!” I hear a voice screaming, and shaking my body. I open my eyes, and see her sitting in front of me. “Simone” I say, and wrap my arms around her, tight like never before. “Shhh baby, I'm right here” She whisper, and holds me in her arms. I lock my arms, around her waist. I breathe in her perfume. “I was so scared” I stutter, and my whole body starts to shake. “Im here, don’t worry” She says, comforting me. “I love you so much” i say into to her chest. She rubs her hand up and down on my back. “I love you too Aaron, and i will never stop loving you” She say, and kiss my hair. 

I take a deep breath and she run her tiny hand through my hair. “What was you dreaming about?” She ask.. “You” I admit. I’m not gonna pretend that everything is okay, and lie to her. I can’t do that.. She deserves to know, whats going on in my head. “What happened?” She whisper. 

“You got an attack, and your lungs collapsed.. You died, and i couldn’t do a thing about it” I stutter whispering. I still have my head on her chest, so i can feel her taking a deep breath before talking. “Aaron.. I won’t go anywhere. I will keep fighting, and the doctors too” She say, but i know she doesn’t believe her own words. Im not stupid. She is only trying to make me calm,and someway it works. “Yeah..Yeah i know” I say, and sigh.
