The next few days went on like usual. Except for one thing. I couldn't get him out of my mind.

Betty Jones. That has a nice ring to it.

I couldn't get him out of my head no matter how hard I tried.
The bell rang and I was totally oblivious to it, as I stood in front of my locker thinking about his cute little beanie and dark hair.

"You're going to be late", he said.

His voice sent chills down my spine.
I recognized it but I couldn't put a name to the voice. "I thinkk that's my problem", I looked up and there he was. I could smell his cologne from here. "Oh, it's you. The daddy's boy" I teased.

"Daddy's boy my ass", he laughed. If only I had known what he really had meant. Maybe thing would have turned out differently.

I decided to be bold. I put my arm around his, and said, "Walk me to class?"

"Sure thing, Juliet", he replied.

We walked to class arm in arm, and I for once felt safe.

"How about we reschedule pop's", I asked. I got my lip. He probably would say no.

"Maybe", he said as he walked to his classroom.

"Call me later", I said.

"I don't have your number Juliet", He replied. He looked confused. And confused looked cute on him.

"Check your pocket, Romeo", I smiled and went into History.
