When I went into my room I heard the garage door open. I finished my homework so I pretended to study.
"Chantel!" I heard Flora yell.
"Here we go again..." I whispered.
I went to the kitchen where Flora called me.
"Look what I found. What do you have to say?" she said angrily.
I looked at her hand. She was holding an envelope with my name and school on it.
"My grades..." I thought.
I knew didnt get A's like she wanted. I never do. I had no words.
I just stared at the floor until something hard hit me. I had no time to react.
She slapped me. I could feel my face heating up where she slapped me.
My eyes were tearing up but I am strong and I hold it in. I show her no fear.
She went into my room and came out with everything.
Phone, laptop, tablet, and ipad.
She left and closed the door to her room.
I opened the envelope on the table. I was mad at myself. I try really hard and this is what i get. Flora wont get me tutors so its partly her fault.
Flora doesnt understand whats going on in my life. No one does.
I miss Joli, I wish he was here to comfort me.
