Blur

I woke up early in the morning to make breakfast. I made coffee for Flora and eggs for Jacob and dad. 

I didnt make myself anything so I grabbed a blueberry muffin. I ran to the bus as it waited for me.

Sunday was mostly spent in my room doing nothing since I was grounded. 

School was a blur. I wasnt paying attention to anything.

I was thinking about Joli and Calvin.

I went on the bus after school and remembered Flora isnt home. The bus stopped at my house and I walked the opposite direction towards Calvins house.

His parents are always almost never home. But Calvin is old enough to take care of himself and drive.

That reminds me, Ill finally be getting a car for my 18th birthday in a few days. I doubt thatll happen though.

I stopped at the blue mailbox, Calvins house. Its a small comfy looking house. The white house almost looks like glass as the sun hits the walls.

I went through the gate to find Calvin.

Theres a lot of junk in Calvins backyard mostly car parts and trash.

I stepped on some bottle. I picked it up and it was a lotion bottle.

Theres a picture of a cow on it and under the cow it says, "udderly smooth".

I giggled at the cheesy pun.

I went behind the house and got up on the porch. I saw Calvin sleeping on the bench.

I stared at him while he was sleeping. I never really noticed how beautiful he was.

As I was gazing into his dreamy face he slowly opened his eyes as if he knew he was being watched. 

He awkwardly stood up and I forgot I was still staring.

"Its not nice to stare." He joked.

"Oh uh right yeah..." I said embarrassed.

He realized I was embarrassed so he changed the subject.

"So you came to see Joli?"

I looked up at him and nodded.

He lead me through his backyard where junk was lying everywhere. He told me since his parents are never home he has to make money.

He does that by repairing and building cars.

Hes been working on a motorcycle that he built from scratch and it was almost done.

We went inside his work shed and Joli was gnawing on a bone.

Joli saw me and jumped on me.

"I missed you too,pal!" I said while rubbing his soft belly.

Calvin was looking at me in a strange way that I've never seen before. I just continued rubbing Jolis belly.

As I stood up I saw really cool graffiti on his walls. He told me he does graffiti on cars as well.

"Hey there are these tunnels I do most of my art on. Do you want to check it out?" Jason asked.

I checked the old dustly clock in his shop. I have some time.

"Lets go." I said as put a leash on Joli.
